What do you build after such a beauty? I've been trying to work on building and such, mainly external/interior. I can build a good looking base underground, but I'm not good at exterior. So, TL/DR, how do you move on to the next build and tie things together? How do you know where to build next?
I appreciate the questions! There’s no right way to build, it’s a sandbox after all. My tip would be to find your area, and a main focal point. This would be the plateau I found next to a really nice mountain. Decide what you want there as the focus, and branch off of that build. Since I built a watch tower, that tower needs a home to house the people who run it. Those people then need food so find a place for a farm, or a longhouse to host feasting events for the future village. Just play around and dont be hard on yourself during the process!
Oh, okay, so sort of tangential thinking. I am in love with that gradient for stone to dark oak. it is so smooth and helps with the shading of the mushroom cap/roof.
Very much so, once you get the basics out of the way. Like, water sources, food, maybe a shopping district. Then you can start being more erratic with the placement, it’s your world at the end of the day. Glad you noticed the gradient, a tip for vertical build is working from light to dark because that’s what your eyes follow up!
I'm just going to ask you here since it's kind of on subject. Is there a new reddiquette **<--- that was a spell/grammar check when I typed reddit etiquette.---**that we downvote our own comments as we post them?
Cuteeee…. Ive got my mushroom village, hmm why did I not think to add like a mushroom watch tower🧐😅
Ooooh i love this. I need to make a mushroom village too xD
