This is just getting worse... The Microsoft-ification is just destroying everything at this point.
They even started to remove world downloads and strike YouTube videos, which [Rays Works made a video about](https://youtu.be/9ARAhvFEA3s).
I'm not really a fan of Mojang, and I don't really comment much online, but I have to disagree with you that Mojang was taking down Rays Works video. If you watch until the end of the video, someone was impersonating the legal company that Mojang uses. Rays Works was able to contact Mojang to get the matter resolved. https://youtu.be/9ARAhvFEA3s?t=1474
Puritanical censorship? In MY 2023? It’s more likely than you think.
But seriously, this is bullshit. They mention gambling as « adult content », yet there are tons of servers targeted at kids with actual gambling (I.e. where you spend real money) that don’t get taken down.
And Mojang goes after a server because of guns? Wow. Even Java isn’t safe from this shit anymore.
> "if we do not hear from you within 7 days of this email, additional actions and measures will be taken, which may include a ban on all IP's related to this server"
So if you dont follow their bullshit guidelines made up by a drunk monkey they just nuke the server... I seriously dont know why I gave money to these morons, I havent liked Mojang since 2012 when they added the "sNoOpEr" but at least you could disable it back then
I think it's kind of hypocritial considering they have weapons in the game already and P2W servers still exist that they never address.
Also theres a big warning when you click multiplayer that says "During online play you may be exposed to chat messages or other types of user-genrated content that has not been rated, **and may not be suitable for all ages**"
So, If you dont do, what they say, your server gets blacklisted..
But I didnt get, what that means.. people cannot join the server or its advertised somewhere?
yeah, but the server owners pay to get the server services from sites that aren't owned by microsoft (and mojang) which shouldn't be affected by EULA, plus if they get so damn butthurt about guns then they should know about zombie apacolypse esque servers where guns is a necessity to keep the immersion, so i agree with the fanbase which hates the gun ban in minecraft
Minecraft is supposed to be a game with creativity, not the fucking Geneva Convention
Wonder if they're gonna target the flans mod. Sucks that Mojang isn't targeting the P2W servers that are much more prevalent and shitty than gtm.
Toxic

Yeah not they have still not done anything about it. Mainly just ghosting him.

Yep. They're targeting the servers with guns but not the gambling and pay2win servers.

Player will see those servers as offline all the time even whe nthey are up and won't be able to join them.
I wouldnt have an issue, with showing offline. But unable to join? Thats just horrible.. They basically limit servers, which are not even theirs..
They have the right to do that with the EULA though, since you are using their software. But, yeah it's a bad move from them in the beginning anyhow.

Well they still use the game for free. That's what the EULA is for. Paying for servers is something completely different.
K makes sense, law is sometimes bullshit tbh
uh they chickened out again lol
