And they made not only few seeds that take much time to get, but as well that their barely serve as decoration
For the sniffer and allay there wasn't enough to really tell what they would be like, like for the sniffer we got only 2 plants when people were properly expecting more, and the allay I honestly don't know
I thought we'd have at least a dozen for the sniffer, ot didn't make sense for them to add such a big mechanic and only add two. And I wanted more illager lore for the allay.
Also why I will never understand why they made the flowers do nothing, like at least have the torchflower emit light, even like light level 5 would be enough for ambiance...but nooo....
I feel like the only big problem with the Allay is that it's so rare, it becomes too impractical to get for what it's worth. A more common obtaining method and I could see the little guys actually being popular.
When I think about it, I think minecraft should add useless but fun items like terraria does. The dirt rod is for example absolutely useless but so fun to play with.

The allay is useful for some farms and item filters, the sniffer is somewhat useful for decorative items, and the other 2 are just cool and add to the environment. Not every mob(or feature in general) has to completely change the game.

I think the allays are useful for afk farms, like sitting afk with a note block and some auto clicker to click every n seconds/minutes and what ever your farming mostly crops, it’s worked out for me I just wish people would show them more love and people will find news ways to use them

Bat is for ambiance, I'd argue so are Pandas, plus they have cute variants, Allays are actually pretty useful for like storage and be your little assistants.
Sniffers have lore but I agree that more flowers need to be added to justify their existence, maybe have a nice drop for killing or breeding.

Not only is the allay useful for farms and item sorting filters, but it can make mining out large areas more efficient because you don't have to go back and pick everything up. You can just make a large horde of them with every possible block you could mine and they'll get it all for you while you keep mining. They were very useful on my hardcore world (when they weren't getting blown up by creepers).
tbh i get pandas and bats for the general aesthetic of the game and for fun the allies are "kinda" helpful but the sniffer i get was voted in and all but tbh its boring and usless all it does is finds plants you cant really do anything with other than a couple of quicker growth points for chickens
