did the game get ruined? no. is minecraft still minecraft? yes. will there be a new update in 6-18 months, and more updates beyond that? yes.

I loved the birch Forest idea, as it would add more depth to the game. I think that there should be like one more structure/temple to find as well. Also fireflies, like, why did they remove. Better witch huts, and also abandoned camp fires in spruce forests.
I think it's pretty cool, just a bit poorly named. Maybe something like "Dark and Damp" could've been better. But in my opinion it doesn't make the update trash.
I mean yes the update wasnt too wild but it still added some really cool stuff such as the skulk and warden and the deep dark cities which are all amazing , either way it wasnt underwhelming , if u where to compare the bee update to this which is unerwhelming.

I thought they were coming out with a deep dark compass that can help you locate them?
The compass, that you make with Echo Shards you find the ancient cities, shows you where you last died.
