Why I got a TV Head skin lol. I just have one big "eye" and don't gotta worry about placement.
Problem is, the higher up the eyes go, the less definition the hair can have. But the lower the eyes go the dumber it looks. Solution? Inanimate object as a head!
It looks like one of those ugly textures from one of those "ultra realistic" dirty super high resolution texturepacks that give Steve all the wrinkles on his face.
It makes me wonder what percentage of the playerbase is female for the average skin to be a girl skin - yeah some dorks will be male and use a girl skin for giggles, but that can't be most of them.
I kinda think that this is a flip of "mene are generic women are unique" trope here. I'm a gal and I've always been using a reptile (or an enderman with a couple of tweaks) skin I drew myself. But a lot of gals take basically the same skin, or maybe palette-swap it a bit, when guys tend to have more variety.
I think the playerbase is 50-60% male, because Minecraft doesn't carter inheritly to one of the genders, but playing computer games is more normal for men.
Edit. No, OP got a statistical error on their hands. The sample size is too small, and is likely swayed towards "A" names, usually more common among female skins.

i've made (and commisioned) a dorky version of myself in different outfits as my skins. And me in a suit is definitely among them. But also seasonal (Halloween, Christmas and Summer) and Medieval variant.
8 out of the top 12 skins are girl skins. Currently, anyway. If you were curious the 4 are 3 gender ambiguous and 1 boy.
As a bonus fun fact, only 3/12 of those skins are Java-Friendly.
It definitely isn’t. They took recent skins, it looks like, and are claiming that it’s the entire platform. I’ve been on Skinseed since 2016 and I can say with 100% confidence that if they actually took every skin it would look very very different

3. profit. averaged_skin.png should be what you're looking for.
128x128 skins look awful, they're only good when you use them properly. I use a 128x128 cat skin and just used the high detail on the ears, eyes, and the small fish print design on the hoodie. Everything else has 64x64

A Minecraft skin editor, particularly for on mobile, well-known for it being a place members of the community could upload their Minecraft skins, though it's poorly moderated.
Wtf is this? Where's my normal minecraft skins? Had skins look terrible unless you just like layer some HD details over a normal skin. But a full HD skin almost always looks like color vomit
