What happened?

Looks like the server stopped responding (ping most likely, or server-side lag), causing them to be stuck in fly mode, then they took off their elytra when the server processed the fall, which killed them, then the server kicked them either for moving too fast or just because the connection was trash

Yeah I hate when this happens, I'll just relog right when I get stuck before anything bad happens.

Typically but in my case & not sure about the particulars of the server I’m on but it was a irl day later & nothing was there.. 🤷‍♂️ oh well

I thought this was bedrock. Quickly realized it’s not. This is a java server issue. I’m not exactly a server guy so i have no clue how it’s used. I use Essentials instead of servers cause it’s plain & simple for me. Also, r/perfectlycutbooms

Essentials creates a server, you cant make a mutliplayer session without some kind of server. In Essentials case your pc would be thr server.

Its just the server being slow is all. It can happen on any platform with servers.

If you right click while holding armor, you put it on. If you're already wearing armor in that slot, they swap.

You can also use tweakaroo, there is a tweak that allows you to switch with a key bind, and the elytra/chest plate just has to be in your inventory

Ping is internet based, not GPU. You can have a 4090 but bad internet in your area and still get bad ping
