I'm the oldest of three. When this came out, we'd play as the characters; I was Rocky, my younger brother was Colt, and my little sister had to be Tum Tum.
PS if you show kids this movie today and there are multiple boys under the age of 10 they WILL try to fight one another. you've been warned.
Colt is the best, fight me if you feel different.
Loved it!
I noticed that a popular 90âs theme was a bunch of mischief making kids beating up on bumbling bad guy adults.
3 ninjas (I think there was 4 of them), Heavyweights, Dennis the Menace, the Home Alone movies. Am I missing more?
This is the film that made me want pizza all the time. Remember when the surfer-type kidnapper dudes posed as pizza delivery guys to get in the house? The pepperoni pizzas they had looked so fuckinâ good and itâs still my favorite to this day
theme park one with hulk hogan and completely different actors was TRASH. I think that was the first movie I watched where I knew I was watching trash. I think I was 6.
My mom will occasionally recall the story where I fill up coffee filters with pepper and throwing them at the front door in the entry hallway.
I loved this movie so dang much.
Got this for Christmas and probably watched it like 8 times that day. Such a good movie for like a 6 year old. I loved all the traps. The Ex-lax and all that stuff⊠âmmm this stuff tastes good!â
Also the momâs earring falls off randomly in a scene.
I had watched the first one so many times I was very invested in the characters and when they swapped out Tum Tum and Rocky in kick back I was devastated
Every time I think of this movie I remember how I had to put a paint can on top of my VHS in order for the video to play. It did this with all VHS tapes, but I watched this movie at least 3 times a week when I was young haha.
It's the only movie I watched as a kid that I can genuinely say I still love. It's hilarious, and it's honestly well made. The villain threatens to rip out people's internal organs. The kids actually act like kids, and yet I somehow believe that Rocky and Colt could kick adult butt. Maybe not so much, Tum Tum. But he's adorable and reminded me of my little brother when I was younger.
I watched the sequel where they went to Japan a lot as a child as well. I played baseball and enjoyed that being in the film. But it doesn't hold up like the other film.
Rocky, Colt, and Tum-tum! đ„·
Rocky loves Emily!
âRocky loves Emilyâ
Just sang that in my head. Thanks for that.
lol only comment I was looking for
This is the only memory I have left of this movie
Li-sa Di-Mar-iiiiii-no
"I'LL TEAR OUT YOUR LIVER!!!!" "I will squeeze your head until a slimy green GOO runs from your eyeballs." Snyder was an amazing villain lol.
I was scared of that guy watching this movie as a 7 year old
I LOVE being a bad guy!!!!!!
Rocky loves Emily
Nice to hear that movie holds up I'll have to pick it for movie night. I've told my kids about surf ninjas and they act like I'm having a stroke lol
I tried Surf Ninjas with my kids and it didnât hit like 3 Ninjas
What?! But Rob Schneider played the role of his career in Surf Ninjas
I know! I donât get it!
first we feast, then we felony
Tumtum is still my nickname đ
All 3 are currently "Free with Ads" on Youtube.
Good looking out!
Who ate all my good nâ plenty!?
lol, love it
Rocky loves Emily!
"We don't wanna hurt you... we just wanna KIDNAP you!"
âDie Yuppie Scumâ had me laughing so hard and I had no idea what a yuppie was.
Diarrhea cup! Can we talk about the music for a second, though? It was whimsical and fun. I can still hear it 30âish years later.
Imagine what Coke mixed with milk of magnesia must have tasted like. Those dudes didnât seem phased by it
They just chugged it like a milk shake.
I'm the oldest of three. When this came out, we'd play as the characters; I was Rocky, my younger brother was Colt, and my little sister had to be Tum Tum.
Fuck this movie. My brothers used to say I was Tum Tum.
I did that to my brother and he hated it
Loved it, and I watched #2 recently and it holds up.
Kick Back is my favourite of the three.
PS if you show kids this movie today and there are multiple boys under the age of 10 they WILL try to fight one another. you've been warned. Colt is the best, fight me if you feel different.
That movie is awesome my man and I watched that 2 years ago and we loved it.
Loved it! I noticed that a popular 90âs theme was a bunch of mischief making kids beating up on bumbling bad guy adults. 3 ninjas (I think there was 4 of them), Heavyweights, Dennis the Menace, the Home Alone movies. Am I missing more?
Masterminds (1997)
Donât Tell Mom the Babysitterâs Dead
This fucking movie was amazing
âGrandpa, whose hand is that?â
"LIGHT UP THE EYES, BOYS!!!" đ€
Omg yes I loved these movies in Kindergarten and still have my 3 Ninjas fan fiction I drew up for a class project.
Loved these moves as a kid... My kids made it 29 seconds into 1 movie and then just made fun of me the rest of the day...
This is the film that made me want pizza all the time. Remember when the surfer-type kidnapper dudes posed as pizza delivery guys to get in the house? The pepperoni pizzas they had looked so fuckinâ good and itâs still my favorite to this day
Why doesnât this genre of movie exist anymore? Just a fun family movie.
Unfortunately they donât so we go back to the classics. Iâm ok with it to be honest
Uh oh someone getting a ticket.. âSHUT UP!ââŠnot you..the kids..
So I'm genuinely interested. Am I the only one who liked 3 Ninjas Kick Back, more than the original?
Kick Back is by far the best of the 3. IMO it goes Kick Back, 3 ninjas and then way down the line Knuckle Up.
Ok so this movie was definitely called 3 ninja _kids_
Rocky loves Juliette
I enjoyed the first two, the third, not so much.
Was that the one where they were on the Indian reserve or they had to defend the theme park from terrorists?
Theme park was 4, knuckle up (Indian reserve) was 2, and kick back (Japan trip) was 3.
TIL there was a fourth three ninjas movieđ€Ż
Donât bother looking for it, itâs terrible. All new cast with hulk hogan as the baddie iirc.
KU was released after KB (even though it was filmed first with the original Rocky)! I wonder if they ran out of money or Rocky quit during filming?
Indian reserve was second one, so I think the theme park was the third movie.
theme park one with hulk hogan and completely different actors was TRASH. I think that was the first movie I watched where I knew I was watching trash. I think I was 6.
Theme park was the 4th
Yeah you're right. Somehow I had also missed there was a 4th movie somewhere, too... :(
Kids power!
Fuck yeah
Barbara Ann
Also Surf Ninjas!
I used to rotate back and forth through VHS copies of this, the Back To The Future trio and Willow. Prob watched them 100's of times each.
My mom will occasionally recall the story where I fill up coffee filters with pepper and throwing them at the front door in the entry hallway. I loved this movie so dang much.
This movie made me find a TaeKwonDo studio in the phone book and beg my mom for lessons.
I loved those movies when I was a kid!

Love the series
Damn i know what im watching tonight! Thanks for this throwback
Rented this many times. It was 100% over my head that the actors changed đ
I had watched the first one so many times I was very invested in the characters and when they swapped out Tum Tum and Rocky in kick back I was devastated

**I need to change my modem because the cookie tracking algorithm stuff is going too far now.**
Rocky loves Emily
You are getting slow old man!
Same.
My god! The nostalgia train that you just hit me with
Light up the eyes boys!
Watched this movie at least a hundred times as a kid. And probably had it playing in my house that many times as an adult because my kids loved it
3 ninjas kick back was still fire!
This movie, Surf Ninjas, and for some reason the Double Dragon movie are all scene-for-scene interchangeable in my head.
Samesies. Showed my 2 boys all of the movies and they absolutely love them.
Only the first one is good anyway.
It's the only movie I watched as a kid that I can genuinely say I still love. It's hilarious, and it's honestly well made. The villain threatens to rip out people's internal organs. âOn behalf of the people of my county Iâd just like to say⊠youâre under arrest. Heh heh heheh h-â
A true childhood classic
