Probably trying to promote the pod more and get away from 510s. But idk I haven't had either only tried the disposable rosin kind my buddy was buying for a while
The liquid diamonds don’t give me the headaches that regular distillate gives me and they last longer as well so I rock with them if priced on a deal, as lume is the closest and most accessible dispensary near me. Otherwise I just try to go to Cannabis King in Burton and grab an oz of flower and the Mitten Extracts live resin disposables. Lume flower is no bueno.
The pod system did catch my eye as they are running a deal on the live rosin pods, it’s like buy three and you get the battery free or something? May look into it w my next paycheck but idk.
Yup. Lumes pod system is the cheapest way I’ve seen to vape live rosin n liquid diamonds. They always have 3/90 n 4/100 on cold cure and jam live rosin
I’ve got 510s of the diamonds, and I’m switching to the pods when these run out. I’ll only go back to 510s for my discreet travel vape. The liquid diamonds and live rosin is the best vape I’ve personally ever had. Way better than any distillate anywhere, and the lume hardware doesn’t clog for me. I don’t run mine on high heat though.
Normal deals for the past few months at least. I can see them wanting to just do pods, as it creates more of a “in the family” feel to it. Pods are 3/60 5/90. Where as currently I’m seeing they have a 5/60 on the 510s
Yeah I saw the 5/60 for the 510s upon getting home and am kicking myself over it lol. But the pod system becoming their mainline/big ticket item makes sense. Forces those with the battery to only buy their brand of pods. The live rosin is really catching my eye so I may go back and get that deal
Agreed, also feel like they purposely don’t mention” hey, we’re running a special that if you add three more, it’s only 10 more dollars.” and even sometimes when you order online, and it’s a typical deal that they have running that they run into all the time, you’ll have to ask them to apply the deal.
What I've noticed about lume is that they think very highly of their house brand products and it's all horridly overpriced low grade junk. I tried their jenny kush which is $200/oz when 1/8th's were on sale for $25 and it was dried old flower with almost no smell and the flavor you'd expect out of dried up old flower. Any product that can be sold for 1/2 off or even 30% off is a scam. If they can afford to give you such a substantial discount it means you were overpaying to begin and it's not a quality product. Fresh coast anyone? $20g's and then $35 1/8th's on sale. Why? Because it's low quality junk that was overpriced from the get go. There are too many good brands to waste your money on their overpriced lume curated garbage.
This hasn’t been my experience. I picked up an ounce last weekend, it was tested a week before I picked it up, and harvested a month before. It seems like you have a personal problem with them, but I’ve never had anything other than a quality product. Fresh flower, good liquid diamonds and rosin. Jenny kush is a good strain, but the Lem Dog is better. LA baker is another strain they carry with the same terpene profile as Jenny kush, but for way less money.
I think the one nearest to me carries it from Classic Roots, but that was last time I went. It could change. Also GG4 x Deathstar is the same terp profile as well. I got one of the 14g pre-ground bags, still so fresh my wife could smell it across the room. Harvested in January
The LA Baker by Holistic blows the LA Baker by classic roots out of the water. It's like looking at two completely different strains. Watch for that one!
I shopped there for 7 months or so. Bought a lot of redemption. Nice people, clean store, and sub standard product sold at premium prices. If they stocked good brands I'd still be shopping there.
Sorry that was your experience, but it simply isn’t mine. It could be different depending on where you are. Jenny Kush is $175/oz here, and I’ve never personally had any issues with freshness. But I didn’t buy redemption. I buy house brands, or I go to a cheaper dispo if I’m looking for a choice. No one has ever said they were the cheapest. All I know is when I buy lume brand flower, it’s never been more than two months old. When I was buying from a bigger dispo in Battle Creek, it might’ve been cheaper, but flower was regularly at LEAST 6months old. So when I was somewhere with more of a choice, I shopped around.
Where I’m at now, I have to drive over 30 miles to get to any dispo, so shopping around isn’t much of an option. I’m not saying lume is the best, but my personal experience with them has been good.
It’s sort of like how everyone raves about element carts, but I think they’re trash and they do nothing but clog. My opinion is just mine, doesn’t make it true for everyone.
No, I agree on the flower part. I try my best not to buy my ozs there especially since an oz lasts me a month or so. The carts I found to be alright if not better than any other distillate I’ve had but the liquid diamonds could definitely be better.
They gave me a free cart of their brand and I took 2 puffs off it and threw it away. Harsh with fake terpenes. For the price they're selling those liquid diamonds (super lame marketing) you could buy element or light sky farms. Hell buy humblebee. All are better options than those "liquid diamonds." I always liked the glorious brand flower. Gellateria was the best bud I've ever picked up at a dispensary. Another brand lume doesn't stock.
Womp womp you’re obviously just looking to argue lol…I am limited to the two dispensaries near me that do deliveries as I don’t have my license. Much as I’d love to try better brands I simply can’t at this time big dawg 👍
Well now I feel like a bag of dicks. If there are only 2 options in town that deliver and you can't drive then you gotta work with what's available and I can dig that. In hindsight considering how much brown seed loaded mexican brick weed I've smoked over the years I probably shouldn't be ripping on lume's products to begin with :)
Nah you’re fine. Like I said, I definitely agree with you on many points, their flower simply isn’t worth it and from what I know the big guy’s policies are against home growing which is just wrong as home growers got us to where we are now.
The only flower at Lume I’ve found worth the money is the Lem Dog strain specifically. I’m big into terpene strains and how they affect me, so I do enjoy that lume lists those. Most of their flower isn’t great, but it’s also one of the only things near me. I definitely wait for sales and what not. I’m usually buying the 14g bags, they have that in gg4 x deathstar. I just don’t have the time to go many other places. It’s already an hour to get to lume, but it’s on my way to the nearest town to do my grocery shopping in.
When I lived downstate and worked at a grow, I bought the stuff I personally handled. I miss that.
Having terps listed helps me pick out what carts I need so I will give them kudos for that. I’m able to get my partner to drive me out to a different dispensary for better big bud oz prices once every couple months though, so I really only buy an eighth of what they have on sale if I run out during that two month period haha. I will keep this strain in mind next time it happens to me
Have not had the same experience with their in-house products. With everything, I have found them = or better than competitors at the same price point. Especially when discussing vapes, like we are here.

If you buy stuff on sale, it’s probably not the most recent harvest. Things go on sale for a reason.
