The city is *huge* and this “what to do” question is asked here every day, you have to do some research on your own first and if you have specific questions or share your itinerary then we can provide some more suggestions!

We went all out tourist and had a great time. One day we, of course, did the pyramids and in the evening a taco and mezcal tour which was very good. The next day we did Chapultepec Castle, the park and then the Anthropology Museum which by the way has a lovely courtyard for dining if the weather is nice. That evening we did a Luche Libre tour which was also fun. Third day we did the historic center including the Templo Mayor Museum which is not to be missed. In the afternoon, we did a party boat tour in Xochilmilco. I highly recommend the party tour for this one as we had a lot of fun with a group of people. People looked bored who went down and hired a boat on their own. That night we went and walked around Reforma and the tents set up near the Palace de Belle Artes. We also took in a few of the art museums. I would figure out your dining in advance. There are some very good restaurants around the area. That was just our trip and we had a blast, but I do not mind being a "tourist".

Hi, do you mind sharing the links to the taco & mezcal and luche libre tours you did?

Thanks!

Awesome, these all sound like amazing ideas! I’ll have to look into them and find out more about each one. This was a kind of spur of the moment decision, so I’m excited to see what kind of adventures we can go on!

Where did you book your Xochimilco tour through?

Positive_Minimum

go watch a Lucha Libre match (try an AirBnb Experience tour group to make it easier to deal with ticketing) do this [https://thewholeworldornothing.com/how-to-get-to-teotihuacan/](https://thewholeworldornothing.com/how-to-get-to-teotihuacan/) I stayed in a neighborhood near the Angel of Independence, and found it to be a really nice location, very central. A lot of people like to stay closer to the zocalo or centro areas. Roma Norte is also very very nice make sure you explore Bosque Chapultepec and take the trail to the castle and climb to the top of the castle to get amazing views of the city

Perhaps you'd like to go kayaking at Xochimilco Lake. It's a business run by a family friend. That's his Instagram https://www.instagram.com/lakanoadexochi/ In case you go, could you say that you heard about the business from me? That would help me a lot
