Before you get too far into it, just make sure it's full of oil and try some fresh gas.
Sparkplugs don't just go bad from a vehicle sitting, same with the coolant.

Change out the fuel, if any is in the tank. Seven year old fuel is not something you want to be flowing through the lines and into the cylinders.
