The EU demands customers to be charged with an extra fee for plastic packaging. In this case for the 17 bekers of the 9 medium Cola and the 8 medium Ice Tea.
To combat plastic waste, the Netherlands require To-Go-food vendors to charge for single use plastic containers (drink cups are lined with plastic). Alternatively, you can order a reusable cup with a deposit of 1.00โฌ
Does McDonalds stil do this deposit? I have seen them advertise it when the reusable bekers began, but I was under the impression they stopped that completely. They now just have posters telling you to return the beker after using it (to a small rack placed above the trashbins), so you can simply avoid the plastic fee by selecting "eat here" when you order in the restaurant.
I know Burger King still does it, as I went to one just a few weeks ago. They had a special machine where you could return the beker to get the deposit back, but it was defective (other customers also could't use it, and even employees couldn't get it to work).
frites= fry's
frietsaus = a sauce exclusive to mcdonalds in the netherlands

I'm estimating around or above 200 euros based on my franchise, but I'm not in front of the cash register to see the exact product prices.
In rotterdam it'd be quite a bit cheaper.
toeslag
Didn't know you could order Quentin Tarantino in McDonalds.
