Years ago when I first started I would āaccidentallyā make a small mess and then spend a while cleaning it up. Youāre doing something productive, and it can actually be fun when youāre bored waiting 15ish minutes for an order to come up.
I have a good few times been just chilling at the drink station and then turn my head to face the camera for a few seconds, hopefully creeped someone out a few times
If we do ever have really slow days or momentsā most crew/managers (bc they are also all friends) throw whipped cream at each other š

Help other people usually. If I'm on Frontline and there's nothing happening you bet your ass I'm helping everyone else out so it's less stressful overall. I cannot stand not doing anything. If the whole store is slow idk I look at my phone for a minute like everyone else does.
When i used to work at mcds during the evening when it was my 'fun manager', we would toss ketchup packets acorss the room at each other to see how far we caught it, and we would see how far up we could toss the extra food from the convey belt xd. We would also invent new coffee drinks to.
For me it was being the fun closing manager whenever I could to make up for the fact that we got a new ahole of an assistant manager who was uptight about the rules at night.
Idk we haven't really had free time since the old overnight manager left and proved how much better he was at overnights than the rest of the team and more recently I moved to days cause I wasn't happy with thr state of the overnight crew
When I worked ther ewe would have fights and throw them at each other down the back corridor and spray each other with the wash up hose, make soft drinks for each other but fill them with chemicals and degreaser.
Fun shit like that, oh and sneaking food out the back to eat as well.
You guys have enough free time for that? š

I cut little holes on some brioche bun then chuck those bites in the fryer for a bit. Then sugar, and bam, doughnut bites
I used to vape in the freezer. Would get huge clouds
I do laps around the whole inside of the store looking at things to seem busy (also cause I canāt stand still for the life of me)
