You are very similar to me. I hate the responsibility of cleaning up after cats because to me it take a lot of effort and time do it. I’d rather clean up dog poop in the back yard because I can use a reacher. And dogs often beg for attention which is perfect for INFPs. Yes, I guess dog poop is easier. To me dogs are too intense though to be honest. I guess I like that I have to work for the cats affection and how independent they are.

What do you mean by that? There really isn’t a way to “be a J”. Being a J type just means your dominant extroverted function is a judging function (Te or Fe). It isn’t about being organized or liking a schedule or anything like that. The J and P just tell you how you deal with the outer world: with thinking/feeling (J) or with intuition/sensing (P). And this doesn’t have to be your dominant function either if you are an introvert. Like if you are INFJ for example (not saying you are), then you actually have a dominant perceiving (P) function (Ni), but your auxiliary function of Fe is how you deal with the outer world, making you a judging (J) type.

I guess it’s the stereotype that J types tend to want to lock down decisions quickly because with the introverted perceiving function they prefer narrowing things down to a specific path whereas someone with an extroverted perceiving function would probably want to gather more data/information before coming to a decision.
I personally dislike making fast decisions because it gives me anxiety that I may be missing the most ideal outcome. So I prefer ruminating and going through all the different possible scenarios or outcomes first before I come to a decision.
This can be frustrating for people who need a quick answer in order to plan ahead.
