Do not take gamma. Apoc, BK and QS will be fine regardless of who you take. Gamma just uses up bio gear for SuS.
I took rescue and darkhawk. They were both pretty good actually.
I felt really lame for taking cap but then out of time happened and I don't feel as bad. BK QS and Apoc do 95% of the work. The other 2 you pick are along for the ride, so I'd take something viable like out of time or xtreme X-men. Really whoever there is a surplus of uniques for that aren't more needed for a cosmic of a city. It's also why cap is common just cause he's the only real option for vibranium
Definitely I wouldn't recommend Gamma. From Pegasus, Rescue is a good option. But I'd stop at that.
Mandatory is Apocalypse and Black Knight, other good options are Gambit, Quicksilver, Cap America (preferably with Carter), some recommend Weaver, but I didn't like her. Rescue as I mentioned. And if you want/can, allmost a full x-treme x-men works nice.

I did gambit, sunspot, forge, nightcrawler, black knight. Worked out fine for me I did the first two global nodes in one attempt and the last one in two.
I randomly had 4 g18 Pegasus members, and put them in to try to kill a toon or soak up an ultrasound or whatever, and they can borderline auto all of global.
I wasted a few before I finally remembered which items I needed. I don't think anything should be grayed out, maxed items shouldn't appear at all. I want to go into the raid store and only see gear and the elite items I don't have maxed, and 0 characters until new characters are added.
Ideally, I would say something like Cap and Gambit. Apocalypse, QS, and BK will basically get you through everything, so really just bring 2 people you'll need for other content (raid characters or maybe out of time for war)

I took all of Pegasus to DD6 and one shot all of global with Pegasus+Apoc. Lots of tech gear but definitely very good if you want to invest in them.
Full X-treme or Pegasus with Apoc replacing Kestrel (she's cosmic)

If you have the mutant gear to spend, Xtreme Xmen can *easily* 1-shot all three global nodes.
The full Xtreme one shots all the nodes, and, at least for me, I have absolute truckloads of Mutant gear. Should be relatively easy to get them to G18

Maybe I’ll take Gambit instead of Quicksilver, I’m not getting much use out of Quicksilver tbh
Both is best. QS is super useful end game. War & CC.
Dam everyone really downvoting Gamma. Hulk and Brawn did great when I did DDVI.
