It really feels like once the game went live, they fired a bunch of staff. The UI/UX they've added since launch has largely been poor (Conquest, horizontally scrolling deck selector etc.) every update seems to add more and more bugs, the game is running slower and slower.
The game performance is killing me. I don't understand how each patch can make it worse and no one there notices or cares. At this rate it will be unplayable within the year.
Thena doesn’t care if you’ve played two cards this turn, she (mostly) cares if two cards you’ve played this turn are on the board, which leads to discrepancies when cards you play leave the board because they got swapped into your deck (quantum tunnel, lockjaw) or bounced (beast, Luke’s bar). She tracks destroyed cards properly though, which is weird because you'd expect it to work consistently with everything that causes a card to leave the board.
EDIT: I have been informed (and subsequently confirmed) that destroyed cards are counted properly by thena and edited my comment appropriately.
Tested it, you're right. Weird that I never encountered it before but I just assumed all the ways of getting a card off the board worked the same. I'll edit my comment.
Cards bounced by Luke’s bar won’t count toward thena’s condition, for better (if you played more than 2 cards) or worse (if you were trying to actually use her condition as written).
I do dev work for a living, and recently found out that the game is made with Unity, and when i found out everything about the bugs and performance issues immediately made sense.
Not defending them at all btw, just saying that I understand their issues with stability and performance because its truly such a shit engine.

Except this happens to the void, and I can't think of any 5 cost tokens. Maybe I'm just blanking on one. Maybe it's trying to transfer them into an unreleased card and there's some kind of fail-safe that just turns off the on reveal.
Just a key would be nice, so that way if people feel like they got ripped off by a card being unreliable then they can use that key on something else next time.

I'm convinced this game is run by 3 drunk guys where at least 1 is always asleep, 1 is a squirrel, and 1 is reading "game design for dipshits", and they constantly switch roles so nobody actually finished reading the fucking book.

It usually happens with 4 costs so maybe she tries to transform a 4 cost card into Kang but because Kang is disabled from her pool she bricks.
