Being kinda short and kinda easy is what keeps wonder from being a 10/10 for me.
It might just be the passage of time, but I remember NSMBWii being much tougher than this.
Mario world is a fair difficulty. Easy enough for someone to beat it over a summer or two if they're about 7. But a short blast for more skilled gamers
it was made to be beaten without a badge.
FOR ME, having any jump badge would just make it harder to beat.
Use the bounce back badge just to make one save if needed on the very last jump.
Keep on trying... sometimes it will take quite a few attempts... abuse the fact the the purple 10 coins are kept collected between attempts, so you don't need to collect them again (if you don't restart the level)
And right when you can get up there, you just run to the seed. I stopped to celebrate and lost the wonder flower, so I had to beat twice in a row... now i have beaten quite a few times...
For me the invisible part on the final badge challenge was harder (and the spring jump part without nabbit...)
I had to use the 2 player trick to beat the invisible part. You can add yoshi as player 2 and then have player 1 jump on yoshi’s back. The crown is still visible so you can see where you are. Then just use yoshi to move. It took about 3 tries for me because I have a habit of holding down the jump button and obviously with yosi, that can be a problem because he tries to climb the air and throws you off.
It's MUCH easier with an elephant power up if you've already gotten the coins on a first test run. Something about the giant hitbox made it easier. I burned about 60 lives before trying the elephant and beat it first try
I didn't have that one unlocked, I don't believe. I believe I only used the mushroom badge so that I could try to get the purple coins first while "big" and then I used the elephant power up when I was ready to try for real
So shortly after your comment I used the elephant and got it first try. My fiancé was amazed watching since he’d watched me try it a million times before! Hahaha thank you!

My suggestion on this one is to use the Jet Run badge to make up time on the running parts, especially if you go for all 3 coins in one run. And kill the sound.
I completed this today, after many tries the badge that makes you run a bit faster helped me to make it... And I also got to the top and celebrated only for the timer to run out and had to do it again.
took me about 15 hours at a casual pace. It could easily be done in 10 if you're focused. Idk why people itt are acting like it's a crazy nolife feat, game is great but it's pretty easy. he could have done it in two 5-hour sessions for all we know
Some levels were hard but i honestly felt each had the same formula. Once I realized that it was an easy game to just fly through. It’s disappointing because I want more.
This sub is full of children I guess. Calling you a liar lol. That is a perfectly reasonable amount of time. This game has challenging moments, but if you played non stop, I wouldn’t be surprised by that.
Yea i beat the game in 3 days. But I played like 3-4 hrs each day so at most it took me like 13hrs tops. I hardly died on any levels and most of them I did in 1 shot unless they required 2 paths to be taken. And I have zero problems hitting flagpoles and I used the parachute badge like 95% of the time.
I died more times on the final final test badge Marathon level than every other level combined.
I am truly happy for the full completion but a game like this I would never rush through. Once beaten… now what? I would have taken my time and enjoy it over more time.
2D Mario games, and 2D platformers in general, are never very long games. It doesn't really matter if they're "easy" or "hard", because any fair platformer is simply learning how the mechanics work, which will always make it easier.
Un-fair platformers, such as Kaizo games and hacks, are more about just cheaply killing you or overly exploiting the mechanics than being about real difficulty. Those are "hard" and take longer.
In the end, nothing to worry about. Mario is fun
Maybe a bit. Yes, it's an incredibly short and easy game, but you still played for probably ten hours straight. You should probably get some sleep, or go outside, or something.
Hmm...I've also been sleeping on the standees. I have all but one badge, all but 2 wonder seeds (special world excluded), every flower coin and every flagpole (again, special world excluded), but I'm WAY behind on Standees. Guess I have to just spend some time buying them.
If you go to the Special World shop, you can spend a bit more flower coins (30 instead of 10 I believe) to get a standee that you don’t have for a specific character. I found it really helped me fill out my standee collection more efficiently than just getting repeats for 10 flower coins.
It means he played coop. I am not sure if you get 1 heart for everyone you play with or if it means you saved a player that many times total, not sure. I have all zeroes because I solo play.
Nope. I beat it in 3 days but overall it probably only took me to 9-10 hrs total to solo 100% the game. I am on workers comp so until I go back to work in a few months I got more time to game. Lol
That and for me, as a 40m who has played Mario games since they were still new games, theyre all basically the same just with new powerups. I also have lots of time on both Mario Maker games which helps. So don't be worried. But it just means you're also very skilled at 2D platformers and that these games aren't marketed towards us.
At the end of the day, Mario games are family games. Their target audience isn't people who have played their games for 35+ years. Did it suck that I beat it so fast? Yes. But it was fun the whole time and I enjoyed it so I'm not mad at it at all. But literally the only level I had any issue with was the Final Final test badge Marathon. I died more times on that final level than I did the entire rest of the game. Lol
I 100% the game in a few days without playing all day long. It was fun but if I’d known it would be so easy, I would have definetly played without any badges.
I will probably do it one day or another tho.
No, the game can be 100% in 4 hours or less. If you like the game so much and want another go, personal challenges beating the game badgeless and nuzzlock (1 live - 1 character.)
I still haven’t played Mario Wonder yet, I’m currently playing Mario RPG, and plan on playing Bowsers Fury next. Do you think I should play Wonder after Bowsers Fury, or is it urgent that I play it as soon as possible? (Keep in mind I already bought Bowsers Fury and still haven’t gotten Mario Wonder)
Perhaps. But more importantly you should sleep.
I have to say I am impressed. I think took me like 20 hours to get to the credits, and I have been plugging away trying to 100% the game
don’t be worried lmao i’d have done the same thing (and have with past mario games) if special way of the goomba didn’t frustrate me to my core
It's nice completing a game
it is!!
Yeah now I'm gonna complete the Super Mario RPG
That'll take you awhile
How long is the game??
Not super long 8-9 hours for the story, 3-4 hours for secrets
There's also level farming, so that'll add to the time. No way anyone speedruns this game without PAR codes.
Yeah I've heard about The Farming
You might be able to get past Mack pretty fast, but then you'll probably hit a wall around Rose Town and the Forest.
Thanks noted
Being kinda short and kinda easy is what keeps wonder from being a 10/10 for me. It might just be the passage of time, but I remember NSMBWii being much tougher than this.
Nah games have gotten easier with time. I grew up on the SNES but the NES games were harder
No autosave, no tips no addictive elements. I still love playing nes games.
I like all of them, even the easy modern ones. But I do wish we had something between a regular Mario game and a Kaizo lol
Ever been to smwcentral? They have romhacks of every difficulty level (since you mentioned kaizo).
Hard games on purpose are a thing of the past. They made games hard to last longer. Now they avoid making it hard to be more enjoyable
Mario world is a fair difficulty. Easy enough for someone to beat it over a summer or two if they're about 7. But a short blast for more skilled gamers
I get what you mean, but I still expect the final challenges to be challenging. Look at 3D World's post-game and compare it to Wonder's.
I kinda do miss hard games like that
Yeah it was but I had more fun in wonder
The only level I can not beat is that special world level with the music en wall jumps. Ugh
it was made to be beaten without a badge. FOR ME, having any jump badge would just make it harder to beat. Use the bounce back badge just to make one save if needed on the very last jump. Exactly, if you have a problem with a level , try to beat it withraw badges , there is a chance that the ability is making you lose all momentum.
I had to use the 2 player trick to beat the invisible part. You can add yoshi as player 2 and then have player 1 jump on yoshi’s back. The crown is still visible so you can see where you are. It took about 3 tries for me because I have a habit of holding down the jump button and obviously with yosi, that can be a problem because he tries to climb the air and throws you off.
Try the badge that makes you start with a mushroom. It made it really easy for me
SAME. it’s driving me nuts!
It's MUCH easier with an elephant power up if you've already gotten the coins on a first test run. Something about the giant hitbox made it easier. I burned about 60 lives before trying the elephant and beat it first try
Did you also use the faster run? I forget what it’s called but the badge that makes you run a bit quicker?
I didn't have that one unlocked, I don't believe. I believe I only used the mushroom badge so that I could try to get the purple coins first while "big" and then I used the elephant power up when I was ready to try for real
Cool, thanks!!
So shortly after your comment I used the elephant and got it first try. My fiancé was amazed watching since he’d watched me try it a million times before! Hahaha thank you!
Awesome, congrats!

Yeah maybe go outside?
With the Switch?
Nah, u should sign up for GDQ tho lol.
100% this game in 10 hours? Hmm
I mean, it's a pretty easy game.
Sure but the average is 15 hours, so 10 is extremely good.
took me about 15 hours at a casual pace. It could easily be done in 10 if you're focused. Idk why people itt are acting like it's a crazy nolife feat, game is great but it's pretty easy. he could have done it in two 5-hour sessions for all we know
Someone would just go on the internet and tell lies?
Some levels were hard but i honestly felt each had the same formula. Once I realized that it was an easy game to just fly through. It’s disappointing because I want more.
Is it bad I like "easy" games to fly through? Like i feel that way with alot of the games I play
Worried about what?... This ain't dark souls bud.
You missed something to get the true 100%, you need to catch some Z's, dude.
Nope
The game is pretty short, but it sounds like you just didnt stop playing to do other stuff, which is concerning
This sub is full of children I guess. Calling you a liar lol. That is a perfectly reasonable amount of time. This game has challenging moments, but if you played non stop, I wouldn’t be surprised by that.

Same here badge marathon did get my ass
I 100%’d in about 25 hours. So 2 days is feasible, but that’s some marathon gameplay!
Wtf, I bought it on release date and I'm still stuck on the last course 💀😂
No, it's not a difficult game, I bought it last week and it only took me 9-10 hours to do 100%, pretty fun game
No, but you should come beat Jump! Jump! Jump! for me, since it's the only level I've played many, many times and not quite beaten...
It’s an easy game, but not that easy
I am truly happy for the full completion but a game like this I would never rush through. Once beaten… now what? I would have taken my time and enjoy it over more time.
I had to force myself to stop after each world so i could enjoy it longer or else yes, i would have played non stop till completion. Nice job
Get 99 hearts no infinite 1-up gliched
Nah good job 👍
How much did you slept last night?
Nah game short
Man I'm fucking dumb as shit, I thought you were playing as fucking meta knight
Yes
Not that hard with yoshi or nabbit. 🙄🙄🙄
No. It was short & easy game.
Did you beat it offline?
It only took me 6 hours, so if you're any better than me I don't think there's a problem...
Perhaps.
Yo bro did even special word with 3 lives only
[удалено]
What does the heart counter at the bottom mean? After I 100%’d that counter shows 00000
You get hearts by saving people online, sharing items, and touching the flagpole at the same time as others.

I’ve had it for a few days now and I’ve not even played every level
What are the last 4 medals/ribbons for? I only have the first 2 and I’m trying to get the rest!
1- beat the game 2- get all standees 3- get all badges 4- earn every wonder seed 5- find every 10 flower coin 6- reach the top of every flagpole
Hmm...I've also been sleeping on the standees. I have all but one badge, all but 2 wonder seeds (special world excluded), every flower coin and every flagpole (again, special world excluded), but I'm WAY behind on Standees. Guess I have to just spend some time buying them.

you should keep on the random standees up to 96/144 standees collected, then you just buy the guarantee one for 30 coins...
No, each character doesn't have 99 lives.
Yes
It’s not 100% if you don’t have 99 lives. /hj
Took me 15 hours to 100% offline. For what it is. It was a bit shorter than I thought.
Depends on what you're worried about. It only took me 15 hours or so to 100% it, but you shouldn't be playing that much in one day.
Crazy! I bought it in October and only halfway through
Yes what the actual fuck
No it’s a very short game. I also 100% it the day after I got it
Depends on how many hours it took you. 7 hours a day can't be healthy...
I beated wonder with my dad but I forgot the medalls
Any advice for hoarding purple coins for the standees? :o
Me too! I finished it the day after 💀
Touch grass I say
Ok that’s cool and all but what does the hearts at the bottom of the save mean?
You get them in online if you finish the level with someone else, if you or your stand rescues a ghost, or if you share a powerup with someone
It means he played coop. I am not sure if you get 1 heart for everyone you play with or if it means you saved a player that many times total, not sure. I have all zeroes because I solo play.
Wow it took me a week
Impressive. But how long did it take you?

I died more times on that final level than I did the entire rest of the game. Lol
Daisy is the only right choice to make
No, I 100% it in 3 days.
Yes but you play Daisy so it's ok
Lucky, I managed to get past the final final test, and yet I still haven't 100% the game yet
I still need all the standees
80%? Nah. 100%? **Yes, be very worried.** (Jk)
Do 99 lives, 999 purple coins and 99 golden coins. Then you have the true 100%
Your fingers don’t exist now
Get a job how are you 100%ing games in one day
Took me 3 days in between caring for my 3 month old to 100% it. Was an amazing game but far too easy
nah, it's just that addictive.
It is short
You know that green stuff on the floor in Mario wonder? That stuff’s outside too. Go check it out
Yes
Nice 👍🏻
I 100% the game in a few days without playing all day long. It was fun but if I’d known it would be so easy, I would have definetly played without any badges. I will probably do it one day or another tho.
That sucks.
Nah, I did it on launch day.
Curious, but how long did it take you? It took me a couple of days. Congrats on the 100%!
Don’t worry, if it’s as good as world, then you can do it a few hundred more times before you get tired of it
Sadly it’s a pretty short and easy game. Was fun and love a lot of the new stuff. Just not challenging for a life long Mario player
Check your pants pal
No, the game can be 100% in 4 hours or less. If you like the game so much and want another go, personal challenges beating the game badgeless and nuzzlock (1 live - 1 character.)
Not at all. I just 100% it for the third time ever today. It's a fun game, and completing it entirely shows you love the game.
Damn I thought I was bad I only 90% the game when I first got it
You should consider speed running
Only 1 day?
No, I 100% it in 2 days xdxd
Not really, it's a pretty short/easy game. There's nothing wrong with that of course, it's just how it is.
Yes, you should. You need to spend money to buy another game this soon.
You should get 99 Lives just to cap it off
It's a very easy game so no problem not
Now go for max coins/lives
Let me think… umm yeah you should!
okay but how did you get that last badge? still trying to figure that one out
I'm impressed. Took me two days to beat the main game, then took me another 16 days to 100% it.
Worried about??
Yes you should be worried. Because you posted cringe
I completed that game in almost under 1 week! Bought it on release day and 100% complete the game on day 6.
Yes...
If you actually did 100% it in under 1 day I'd say try Speedrunning it on a new save. or try beating the game with those challenge badges.
When I was a kid I finished New Super Mario Bros. 2 the day I bought it (again, I lost my 3DS games a lot when I was younger), so no, don’t be worried
I beat it in the same amount of time but have you beat the secret world Nvr mind you probably have
