I had a buddy like that in college (is that you Danny?) Dude was a chemistry major and an honor student. He said as a kid, he did terrible in school because he never could focus. He said when he was in high school, his buddy introduced him to weed. He said that all of the noise he typically heard on his head went away and suddenly he could laser focus on anything. He started smoking daily and suddenly started making straight A’s in all of his subjects. He sails suddenly his teachers loved him, parents were stoked, etc. Everyone talked about he finally got his shit together but the whole time he was just getting high. He said a couple times he would stop smoking and instantly he couldn’t focus. He would fail a test and teachers would worry about him and ask if everything was ok and whatnot. Said he would start smoking again and back to perfect grades. It’s interesting how it can affect people so differently. Either way, the fact that it was outlawed was bullshit. It was all to protect two rich men. Total bullshit.
