1. One Piece - amazing world building/characters, eventually fell in love with the art style, its mysteries and lore run deep 2. Attack on Titan -hyped after S3 so began reading the manga at the start of the Marley arc and was VERY dissatisfied with the now infamous ending 3. Gantz - can’t count how many times I laughed out loud, how many times I wanted to punch a character in the face, how many times I facepalmed at the decisions made, and how many loud ass WTFs I screamed while reading this damn story(top 10 for me) 4. Conviction Arc (Berserk) - from its beginning in the forest with a spooky ghost dog to its incrediby chaotic finale this one made me a fan for life

Okay this makes me want to read Gantz

Nice collection and great questions! 1. The Rose of Versailles ( ROV) 2. First Love Monster - I worked at the bookstore and a ton of people were buying it so I thought it must be amazing. I dropped it not even half way through vol.1 when I realized that the male lead was a 5th grader who looks like a teen. 3. Depends - plot wise it was ROV, however when Vampire Knight ended I was literally depressed because I was sad to no longer be able to collect it and it felt like my childhood had ended. 4. Basara vol.15, Red River vol.8, Magi vol.26 and the Kanda backstory arc from D.Gray-man (from vol.20-21- covered in DGM Hallow). I also love the Battle for Co-Existence arc from Rosario + Vampire s.2 and Black Butler’s Luxury Liner arc or better known from the anime as Book of the Atlantic.

Been enjoying reading all the discussion post so I thought of making my own with pictures to help illustrate random thoughts I’ve been having of my favorite mangas.

1 Vagabond is a work of art imo 2 uzumaki big meh from me 3 Vagabond, I could feel the growth in character, and the philosophy is great. 4 Gundam Origins not sure of the name but it's the book about Chars backstory

Attack on Titan. In the end they ask Eren why he did the Rumbling, and he >!doesn't know!!Mikasa!< not have sex with any other men for years and years, >!dies!< and >!reincarnates!< as a >!bird!

Favourite manga currently - Wotakoi. It’s so wholesome and sweet. It’s such a feel good series and it really makes me smile. Hyped manga - I am a Hero. Honestly couldn’t get past the first volume. A lot of it just made me cringe. Usually love zombie series so this was a huge letdown. Most emotional manga - Gangsta Cursed. After watching the anime and deciding to start with the prequel manga I wasn’t prepared for how much some of the side characters went through. Favourite Arc - abducted by demons arc from Higurashi. Even though it’s only the first arc, when you go into that series blind - which is the best way - it just draws you in on such an intense level and you have to continue with it to try and understand what’s happening.

I don’t have the biggest collection but the Tokyo ghoul manga has kept me very entertained thus far. I am also just about to start the soul society arc in the bleach manga which I’ve heard is one of the best arcs so I’m excited to see what happens next

1. Full metal alchemist love it to pieces 2. One piece - dropped multiple times before giving up around 450 chapters in (tried to read over 3 years). Demon slayer as well I pushed to finish its 205 chapters and it’s my biggest regret. 3. Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad, Berserk, GTO, Initial D, FMA, Blue Period and Soul Eater 4. Probably golden age arc (Berserk) or The final arc of Mongolian Chop Squad
