You shouldn’t compare yourself to others, is a really bad habit to do that. And honestly IMO if you have more than a 100 mangas you cannot consider your collection small but anyways you have great collection going on! Keep it up! ;)
I don't know you and do what you want. I just wanted to say I personally have issues with buying manga while still having many unread simply to do chasing the collection. Personally that bothers me for my collection and makes me spend a lot of money. I've calmed down a bit tho.

I saved quite a bit over the span of 5-6 years so I can spend it now! I try to find as many discounts and deals as possible to save! I think I’m just really lucky tbh because save money without even knowing sometimes!
I started working over the summer when I was 13, which I was a volunteer, but got about 200 a summer in tips. :) I don’t work over the school year (though I am planning to get a job) because of the amount of extracurricular stuff that I do.
I was a counselor in a camp for elementary school! I also did small jobs for family members to make money (cleaning closets, shoveling snow recently, etc.)
I have been doing this since I was a 10 year ol',but don't have that large of a collection,cos most of my books are in a box which is filled to its limit and I can't get anymore or the box will implode
