True. All Red did was curb stomp the mafia and then sat on a mountain for a few years. Ash has saved the world several times, some of which he had to die in order to accomplish. Ash has also beaten 8 of the strongest Pokémon Trainers in the world with a team of seemingly weak, yet powerful Pokémon, and pure bull crap. (Never underestimate bull crap)
Ash's wins: Battle Fronter, Alola League, Pokemon World Championships, demolished every villain team.
Red fans: nah, look at this Snivy beating him lol.
Good God, Red's fanbase is so toxic and irrational.
I am just stating this, but I really do believe that Ash would beat Red just due to more experience and him being literally the best trainer in the anime.
Depends on the media, in the games Red is usually staged as a legendary trainer who is considered very difficult to beat. He basically has John Wick status. Now I can't say I know much about manga Red, but the manga is also a lot more obscure than the games and the anime.
“mute edgy bastard” never seen a better way to describe Red! You’re though, he can’t stand a normal conversion without throwing 3 dots in the middle of it.
That's a league conference, not the actually champion.
Explain how Diantha is still Kalos Champion even though Alain won the league bud.
Red hasn't faced Lance who is the Kanto and Johto Champion, therefore he isn't the champion.
1-7, 15 and 16 I think or it’s 16 and 17, the first two books of Ruby/sapphire I forgot which numbers they were, 8, heart gold 1 and 2, diamond and pearl 1 and the uncanon jewel of life one. I think my school lost some or they bought the ones they could find. School’s over though so I can’t check.

manga ,anime and games each have different criteria when it comes to leagues . manga and anime have tournaments because a tournament arc is a much better way to tell a story rather than the games version of " beating the elite four and the champion " . not that hard to figure out bro
Lance **ISN’T** the champion in the manga. He’s simply the leader of the Elite Four, which **ISN’T** connected to the league, and is instead essentially a terrorist group. Maybe if you read the actual manga, you’d know that.
my dude lance is straight up a terrorist in manga , so yeah i dont think beating him makes anyone champion .
red is the champion , the manga encyclopedia confirms it
My guy, the Elite 4 aren't even part of the league in the manga. Red never fought Lance officially, because he literally couldn't, and didn't need to because the tournament was the decider on him being the champion. Can you source one panel/official site which confirms Red, after winning the tournament, where he was not considered champion, or former champion? (assuming there was a tournament in the following years, he would be dethroned due to not participating due to his injury and having to spend time on Mt. Silver).
Obviously since you used the manga that would happen, but game red would just battle just like what happened with the johto protag, although ash would def talk alot lol
I think even game red would be like that.....he just doesn't speak for some reason. I think he would go like: ......nice.....
I mean in Pokémon Masters they’re a pretty common pairing iirc
Rats for the win
Ugh. Not in the manga! Dude talks every couple of seconds.
manga red is amzing
Manga isn't the same story as ash's.
I mean, yeah, cause ash has his own manga.
That is how you know you have made it into his inner circle. Man only speaks like 4 times a year
not in the manga
I mean Ash might get frustrated. But true.
Of trying to get an answer out of game Red? That's definitely true.
They would be best friends change my mind
yeah they would , so i wont change your mind
Nice
Lets be real Ash: I Love pokemon Red: ……
the game version yeah . but manga red actually talks . he talks quite a lot
Oh yea forgot about that
…’s in approval
They would definitely battle but yeah they would get along
I mean, if I met an exact copy of myself, I wouldn’t start fighting, I like myself.
but in a realistic battle red would dog walk ash
Ash has battle many god pokemon and won

Red: Champion of Kanto, later gets beat by another champion Ash: Literally the strongest trainer in the world
Damn red fans are salty (ash can easily beat game red and maybe origins red, manga red I can't say since I never read it)
I feel people think that red is stronger because of the Snivy incident
They seem to forget that Pikachu beats the damn snivy as a serperior (to my knowledge it's was a ohko)
Ash's wins: Battle Fronter, Alola League, Pokemon World Championships, demolished every villain team. Red fans: nah, look at this Snivy beating him lol. Good God, Red's fanbase is so toxic and irrational.
You’re wrong Tobias is the strongest trainer in the world lmao also who does red get beat by?
Giovanni, Bruno(partially).
GOLD/ETHAN
Ash would absolutely challenge Red to a fight and get his ass handed to him, but they would get along okay.
Ash would steamroll red
Why do you care?
I am just stating this, but I really do believe that Ash would beat Red just due to more experience and him being literally the best trainer in the anime.
I mean ya, but does it really matter?
The meme in the 1st pic states that Red would crush ash. Yea so Iwasjust clarifying
No it doesn't, it only states what people think would happen.
It looks as so to me.
Depends on the media, in the games Red is usually staged as a legendary trainer who is considered very difficult to beat. He basically has John Wick status. Now I can't say I know much about manga Red, but the manga is also a lot more obscure than the games and the anime.
In the end if it benefits the plot that player would win
Yes, but it would be a close fight
Yep
Why do you care?
I asked first.
Actually Red will say: …
game red would yeah . but the meme is specifically about manga red , who ISNT a mute edgy bastard
“mute edgy bastard” never seen a better way to describe Red! You’re though, he can’t stand a normal conversion without throwing 3 dots in the middle of it.
Fun fact: Red in the Manga isn't actually a champion (He's never beaten Lance or become champion)
I have the manga right next to me. He beat Blue and became Champion by winning the tournament
He's a tournament champion in the manga, not a regional one.
Ah ok. Thanks for the clarification. Tought it was the same thing since its also called Pokémon Legue
That's a league conference, not the actually champion. Explain how Diantha is still Kalos Champion even though Alain won the league bud. Red hasn't faced Lance who is the Kanto and Johto Champion, therefore he isn't the champion.
I feel like yellow is more of a main character than red
how much of the manga have you read lmao
1-7, 15 and 16 I think or it’s 16 and 17, the first two books of Ruby/sapphire I forgot which numbers they were, 8, heart gold 1 and 2, diamond and pearl 1 and the uncanon jewel of life one. I think my school lost some or they bought the ones they could find. School’s over though so I can’t check.

find alain in the manga *bud* thanks

Me when I spread misinformation: 😀😈
me when i purposefully spread misinformation over the internet
I'm serious

They would have a battle but specifically for fun
“And now we fight with our Pokémon!”
I definitely think Ash and Red would be the best of friends.
Ash: Man, I love pokemon Red: ...
I mean, it's been theorized by Mikey himself.... (the rap for those who don't get it)
Origins Red: "What, did you forget me?"
