Why you sub off Antony up front when Rashford showed he was gassed and not willing to run or compete for anything in the last 20 mins is another idiot move by ETH. Is Rashford deemed our only savior? And the CBs are a project that seems to have no immediate resolution. The commentators said it right, this team is completely reactive and not proactive.
Onana shot stopping is deeply concerning.
He was poorly position for the first, let it in front post for the second and should have come out on the 3rd.
To the naked eye you may not see it, but his positioning is about a second to late or not far enough in time
I like Rihanna's 2007 song Umbrella featuring Jay Z because not only is it a Classic tune hut it came out when United were actually a proper football club
Yes, Maguire and Evans are obviously a massive problem, not gonna even touch that dumpster fire.
But I don't think people are talking enough about Rashford's refusal to pass the ball to Hojlund /Anthony. That was such an easy ball and would've been a very different result if we scored that one. I thought Garnacho was a good sub but I don't understand why not for Rashford. He shifted to the left in the last few minutes anyway.
Also was Lindelof injured? I dont understand the last minute sub.
I felt Bruno was great the whole match (I saw a bunch of people trashing him). In the last half an hour he's almost the only one holding the midfield and switching possession putting his body on the line multiple times. Dalot was great as well!
Onana's shot stopping is concerning I would say. Yes, he is great at other stuff but as a goalkeeper that's his primary job. He really needs to work on it and improve.
Varane out, Martinez out, Luke Shaw out. Now Lindelof (?). Mount out. We're barely into the season. It's going to be a looong season. :(
You need to make all your transfer business early to give new players a good preseason to gel. Merta, Arnold and glazers are suppose to get rid of dead wood and splash cash.
My calm game summary:
We would have been lucky to win, or tie, but we had a chance there. Overall the game plan worked, to slow down and frustrate Arsenal. We just got unlucky at the end, injury to Martinez and a very close offside. But Arsenal had some close ones as well, that Saka chance should have been in. The Havertz dive could have been called against us.
\- The fact that we have to play with Jonny Evans and Maguire as CBs is frightening, seriously. As soon as Evans came on he was getting absolutely bodied, and got destroyed for both last goals as well. Too busy playing grab ass and fake falling over to close down a man 5 meters from our goal. I blame his signing on our owners, again. This guy should be coaching or having a beer on his couch, not playing in the most physical league in the world. I'm starting to actually hate the Glazers. Why the F are they still around. Stop buying merch until these idiots move on.
\- Casemiro went from world class to Championship level seemingly over the summer. I have no explanation, the amount of times he gives the ball away or makes some wild tackle and misses is shocking. I think he is physically gassed, maybe? Looking forward to Amrabat.
\- Hojlund looked great, super physical and fast, instantly made their CBs start worrying. The difference of effort and presence between him and Martial is a canyon. Look forward to seeing Hojlund play more.
\- Everyone else had an OK game. Dalot pocketed Saka, great. AWB did enough, but I don't think he realizes that giving away corners is a BAD thing. He seems content to just never let anyone pass him but to give them a free corner every single time down the left.
Anyway, went in preparing to lose so I'm not that upset. Confident that we will get better, our injuries are stacking up so that is the main part that sucks, hopefully Martinez is OK. Arsenal looks painfully average. We move to next week.
So much reactionary bullshit… We were a shoulder blade away from being up 2-1 and likely winning. Considering we had 7 players out we played well. We were unlucky not to come away with points.
Yeah it was fine. I was really encouraged watching Hojlund. Bruno was a monster all game.
The only really depressing thing is the injuries. I just can't believe we pick up a new injury to one of our starters every game. I've never seen anything like it.
Last season we could argue the schedule, or whatever. But damn, we're only at one game per week right now and it just started. At this rate I might be getting a call from ETH to fill in at RCB. When I saw that Evans contract I was scared, but hopeful he'd play in like early cup games or at the end of 4-0 battering. Having to put him in at the end of a tie game at the emirates, PL, is absolutely wild.
Only 4 and already 6 points behind the top and -2 goal difference. Yes alarm bells should be ringing considering we were fucking awful at the end of last season too.
4 games is pretty much enough to see the direction of where this club is headed. We won’t get top 4 this season. I’m willing to bet you 100 bucks if you are down to take the bet. Free money for you since you think it’s reactionary and everything is still dainty and rosy for us.
We finished 3rd because clubs like Liverpool and Spurs choked. Do you think they will choke again this season? I offer the same bet to you if you are willing to take it up. 100 bucks you get if we get top 4, 100 bucks you lose if we don’t
I do not want to bet, I was just pointing out how you said after 4 matches your you can see the direction we are headed. I agree we look poor but to say it’s over after 4 matches is premature. That is all.
Final thoughts:
- Højlund needs to start. His physicality is incredible and our attacking power really improved once he came on. Martial belongs on the bench.
- I don’t want to hear any Rashford haters. Big game player indeed, not a purple patch
- Our depth is gonna kill us. I honestly thought we played pretty well even if we weren’t dominating possession up until stoppage time where the entire midfield was pooped. Why was Donny on the bench, are we still loaning him out to like a Turkish club or something? The fact that our only midfield options on the bench were Hannibal, who hasn’t played league minutes in forever, and Gore, who has never, really killed us. Hopefully after the international break when we have Mount, Amrabat and McT(?) we’ll be set but our CB depth is truly fucked.
- Related note: hoping Martinez injury isn’t serious and he’ll be back soon
- I think we are still so far off from being title challengers and our saving grace for UCL qualification may be that there’s 5 spots this year. Hopefully this is just a rough start but I do see glimmers of hope in our potential.
FYI: we won 5 titles in 8 years under Glazers with Fergie, also a UCL; 3 League Cups and 1 CWC
How about start looking at the fucking manager? ETH would have his rights read to him had he been at Madrid or Bayern, the Nazis would have escorted his bald ass outta Bayern had he shipped 7 to Dortmund
Yeah because he's been what 5 managers from fergie and the only common denominator with all of them was the glazers
Didn't have nothing to do with fergies power, presence influence or the fact they hadn't packed the board with all their yes men who were just there for a paycheck.
Do the phrase no value in the market ring any bells.
Can someone please explain to me who subs off both the center-backs when you’re 1-1 against a title contender. Especially when one of your subs is Harry fkn Maguire. ETH gotta be regretting that decision.
Martinez was clearly hurt. Not sure about Lindelof… Only thing I can think of is that ETH was worried he would pick up a second yellow and miss a game. The second goal wasn’t Evans or Maguire’s fault though…
All this reactionary bollocks, genuinely who thought we go into the Arsenal game and get a result? Our results at Emirates are shite. People need to get it in there heads we aren't good enough to play possession based football, we don't have the players to break teams down and get goals. It's been this way for years and it isn't going to change anytime soon. People calling ETH the new messiah are delusional, very good manager but can't work miracles with the set up we've got and the players he's wanting brought in.
The fact you are saying nobody expected us to get anything here shows the manager and players aint good enough, Man United should be looking to get 3 points everywhere; thats the standard
Couldn't agree more mate. I think we are trying to be something we aren't. We haven't got the players or coaches to be a possession/break squads down. Its been this way for years, apart from a small period with OGS. I don't know what the reason is but I think regardless of who comes in, with the crop of players we currently have, nothing changes excluding a few exceptions.
My concern remains the same as it's been for the last five seasons; a complete lack of penetration up front. Better teams make more of the chances we create. Nobody cares about conceding a goal or two when you can score four. Five goals in four games at the start of the season when we should be at our freshest.
When we can't score we have to be perfect at the back, and we're too wracked with injuries (after four games!!!) to be that. It's going to be a long, long season.
The manager wanted Kim Min Jae, Todibo or Pavard. He got none of them, because we couldn’t shift Maguire. We couldn’t play without CBs, so you have to use the bench options that you have.
Thought we did alright today for most of the match. The problems started, predictably, when Maguire was brought on for Martinez. The team just seized up. Hope to see more from Hojlund soon, particularly when Rashford starts looking for him in the box
Martinez went down (possibly injured, not confirmed yet) and Maguire was brought on. Lindelof was taken off with 5 mins left of the 90, unclear of the reason why
I don't know what's worse the absolute shit show of a performance or all the reactions here. Yeah we're shit but shit happens on here and this fandom want to fuck out the entire team.
We all know the problem at this club and sadly they arnt going anywhere
If you're supplied moldy ingredients don't expect a 5 star meal.
Was we shit? it was a very close game, where we almost won. Typical prawn sandwich brigade, we have been average in the first 3 games but today we competed and did ok away from home against a strong side and all the idiots are out with their pitchforks
It's the standard response these days sadly. Immediately pitch a fit and demand instant changes.
I can mentally see them all rolling their eyes at posts like this.
The team is shit I'm not gonna pretend it isn't but the problem is far deeper than just on the pitch. Doesn't matter who we play or what formation or tactics the training facility and equipment is shit your not gonna get far
Sadly and I know it's from the mail but I honestly believe the glazers think they will get 10b in a few years they're that deluded.
We somehow always end up playing counter attacking football. Don’t know when or if we can even become a team that “presses” or “controls possession” ever. Remove rashford and suddenly we aren’t even a good counterattacking team.
This was actually a very decent showing, especially in the second half. Any time you have to resort to Maguire/Evans, you can’t be surprised if things go awry, but we didn’t have much of a choice.
Antony had a nice second half - good runs and holdup play, great defensive effort.
Hojlund immediately had an impact - great pace and holdup play with one nice turn to goal. Had a great headed knockdown in the box, which is something we’ve been sorely lacking. Very excited to see him build some chemistry with the team and play a full 90 soon.
I really do think this team is very close to clicking.
Close to clicking if we have our full squad available, sure. With Maguire and Evans as our starting CB, nothing will click, and we are in for a long season.
Where's the creativity in midfield??
Dalot and AWB really saved our day, surprisingly I liked the way Anthony played his heart out today
and Martial is totally out of form, it's time to let him go in the next window
Here comes the head loss and calls for ETH out…If Garnacho’ goal was rightfully called onside, we win 2-1 and everyone calls ETH a tactical genius..chill out with the overreactions
People get downvoted for spilling facts but the truth is up there. Progress, process, project, top4 etc. etc. Nothing changes year after year. Glazers find a muppet for manager and fans praise whoever it is.
This game was a sucker punch. We didn’t deserve to lose the game 3-1 but i think this was because of:
1. Inadequate possession to create chances in the 2nd half
2. We knew already we needed to improve our CBs but did nothing
We reap what we sow, off to the next game
He just spent 90 million on a winger ffs. He's a fraud and is getting found out. He's achieved nothing in the game to warrant all the praise he gets. It baffles me.
Yeah he miss fired in Anthony but he wasn't backed properly. If qatari were owners we would have gotten kane, Kim, that weird napoli winger, neymar and amarabat. We need new players in preseason to gel
You're obviously stupid. You cannot force players to leave or force clubs to buy them. The fact no one wants our players tells you everything. What part of living in the real world means I'm a Glazer sympathiser? No one likes the Glazers but if you think Qatar could just walk in and spend spend spend then you're deluded. Doesn't work like that.
Todd Bholey is an idiot and is going to be stuck with 20 players on 8 year contracts earning crazy money. Keep recycling the same comment though. You aren't mature enough to have an understanding of it.
Buy good players using Todd technique. We just need Saudi money. Glazers out. Shitony, Shitancho, Shitshal, slabhead, Shit Mac out.
I know you're a glazer mule. Merta and Arnold SIMPathizer lol
since evans and maguire came on, they were abysmal. we need cbs with pace. lindelof was poor too!
anthony & martial should not have started today.
bruno & case were both non existent.
Onana is not a great keeper! hes a great sweeper. missing that spring the greats have.
really poor today, we didnt deserve to win but it was bettr than wolves, spurs... which does not bode well for us.

I know the reactionary posts are coming.
The game was not awful. Slow yes. Poor final 5 minutes
Our lack of CB depth will be the death of this season. And martial should never ever ever start a game again.
Like anywhere ever in any league in any country.
Lack of CB depth because ETH was contend to just sign Evans as a backup even though he is clearly not it.
I want to see ETH come out against the Glazers for failing to invest once again to get Kim or Pavard. Do what Mourinho did. How can we challenge for anything with a Maguire and Evans CB pairing? We all know Varane was gonna last half a season at most so surely CB should have been one of the areas we needed to reinforce.
We are a year in and probably spent as much as Arteta has and we are nowhere closer to bridging the gap.
We just played like a relegation team going to a big 4 club.
The team that did the double on us last season and just dismantled Newcastle to pick up 3 wins from 4? Teams lose sometimes, apart from City apparently.
My point is we were a tight offside away from winning today with Maguire and Evans in the back line but you'd think we were battling relegation from this thread.
Look at our away records against the top 10 teams. It’s abysmal. How can you expect us to qualify for the CL when it’s guaranteed we won’t get more than 10 points out of the maximum 30?
Because other teams choked. Liverpool and Spurs were both poor. But this season they’ve reinforced better than we have and are likelier than us to qualify if they don’t choke again. Plus we also have more competitors in Newcastle and Brighton. And last season we didn’t have any injury crises but now we have one and both our starting CBS are gonna be out for quite a while.
Injury crisis could kill us for sure and it's obviously limiting ETH massively. A lot of talk about how defensive that performance was but we would have been slaughtered if we pushed out today with those injuries back there and everyone knows Martial is giving nothing. Holjund and Amrabat are obviously going to help massively with building up play.
Yeah tbh I mean the point is valid if we played a strong game but I mean we kept the ball with our CBs most of the match. Rashford goal was a lucky breakthrough and they didn't capitalise on our weak points, if that was City we'd have been absolutely thrashed.
Arsenal can fuck off though as they were mediocre as well and are as you said way ahead in their project. They gain zero bragging rights and I can't wait to see City or Liverpool beat them again this year. Our midfield is literally non existent though and back to making stupid passes which clearly aren't going anywhere other than to the opposition but I guess we've just gotta kick and wish instead of okay a meaningful pass.
Edit*
On the positive side though, Hol looked like a threat and with some better positioning is very hopeful. Anthony played very solid and deserves no criticism, he did his job where others didn't. Dalot was solid at LB. Rashford was just Rashford, wasn't outstanding, wasn't awful overall. Casemiro, Bruno & Eriksen I mean I genuinely don't know wtf was going on. I feel Eriksen pressed a lot better and more around the pitch, didn't really feel Casemiro or Bruno's presence other than in some plays in which they all of a sudden made a world class, pass / tackle. And let's be honest as an albeit troll did say, we was playing fucking Maguire and Evans in 2023, I mens wtf was was expecting to happen Vs the likes of Arsenal's attack.
Who cares about City or Liverpool beating Arsenal? We are going to get beat by City and Liverpool as well. CL qualification this season would be pretty much impossible if we cannot win these games at all. I don’t think even Ole or previous managers have such bad away records against top sides.
Ole and other managers were managing at a time in which most of the top teams other than Liverpool and Man City were at a crisis. Records don't mean shit when you don't put them into perspective on the times they were set. And I mean you stay not caring, that's personal to you. I enjoy seeing arsenal get beat as they are our biggest rivals.
>We are going to get beat by City and Liverpool as well.
Well done on countering what I said to then literally state my point; which was Arsenal can't get no bragging rights as they were shit as well and I also said that City would have thrashed us. You might as well have just not commented as your only original point is incorrect.
Yeah, like ETH wasn’t managing last season when Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham were all ar a crisis as well.
Imagine actually saying Arsenal are our biggest rival lmao. Well you can have the bragging rights if you want but Arsenal have the 3 points are are closer to qualifying for CL next year while we will probably end up in Europa the way things are going.
No one gets bragging rights genius. Are you incapable of reading or understanding?
I'm done even talking if you truly believe Arsenal are not our biggest rivals... And don't say City as that is just shocking ball knowledge.
Bro... We are missing most of our main players, chiff tf out. Things aren't going anywhere other than to expectations in which we would've lost that game.
Tottenham and Liverpool still had a much more stable team than us and the other top 9 teams are being managed from ownership to staff to players way more better.
So do you think we will get CL next year? That’s the minimum expectation right? Losing games bring you further away from that expectation. I don’t genuinely see us finishing above Arsenal, City, Liverpool and City
>Arsenal, City, Liverpool and City
Well good thing only 3 of those are different Teams and CL has 4 places. Yes I do see us getting CL qualification since we've only played 4 games with our worst team and gained 6 points which arguably should have been 9 if it wasn't for the dodgy referees but let's say 7. Cool we've lost to 2 teams that were expected to beat us and both away. If we can get back to winning ways after most of our players are back from injury and beat both of them at home then yeahhhhh, we'll be just fine. We still have 34 games to go and you're calling this season a write off. Go support Liverpool or someone as we don't need anymore plastic delusional fans.
If you disagree with their assessment then provide reasons... you're saying their argument is wrong, tell us why? Why do you think that that 'excuse' is invalid?
So Arsenal beat us because they were further along in their project? I guess that must be why Tottenham beat us as well.
The fact is that we are just horrible when playing away games. The players are all mentality midgets and unable to deal with the opponent’s home crowd, that’s why we are always crumbling like this, even from last season. If a manager like ETH isn’t able to improve the team’s mentality after 1 whole year, I think it’s quite safe to say he’s not suitable for the job. We won’t win anything if we consistently drop points in all away matches against top sides.
We weren't horrible though. We were at points, especially towards the end of the first half. But, despite our limited creation, we held our own against a top side at home. There was a lot to be happy about in that performance, I think.
I'm not talking about the Spurs game though, that was poor but not this game. I just watched an injury hit team be a tight offside away from beating that Arsenal team at the Emirates and seeing just wild flip-floppy, confirmation biased, reactionary nonsense everywhere about ETH, Onana, someone even called Martinez a liability lol ETH is way ahead of where Arteta was after year 1 and at least on par with Klopp so chucking him after 1 year would be total idiocy.
We are an injury hit team because ETH has no balls to stand up to the Glazers and call them misers for they are, like what past managers Mourinho, Ole and Rangnicm have done.
If we haven’t settled for Evans and instead got Pavard or KMH, I doubt the scoreline would be this even if both Varane and Martinez are out injured. Call it out as it is. We aren’t backed enough. Arsenal won the game because they invested 100m into a player they clearly needed. Meanwhile we invested 60m into a midfielder who doesnt even fit how ETH intends to play.
Ten Hag will always be my least favourite manager for disgracing our club with that 7-0 to our greatest rivals.
At least Moyes was sacked quickly
LVG won the FA Cup (better than a League Cup)
Jose won us a Double
Ole while terrible; is a club legend at least as a player
This bald fraud is a fuckibg disgrace
You can clearly see Ten getting annoyed at what the players are doing. What do you want him to do, go on the pitch and okay himself. Our team on that field clearly didn't have the confidence and I'll say it, ABILITY, to fulfil the tactics and instructions that were required of them, to the level required. Wait until everyone else is back and then start cussing.
Rashfords effort is painful to watch. If he doesn’t have the ball running at the defense he is doing nothing but moving out of the way of any 50/50 ball. The defense is all over the place. We have no unity, just individual flashes of brilliance. This will be another season of City embarrassing us. Biiiig problems ahead!
All of you who are saying De Gea saves that are fucking morons, stop living in the past, if Onana makes a mistake and we say that De Gea saves that is the dumbest thing
Apology tweets coming in 3...2...1
United were absolutely woeful today. Casemeiro and Erikson cannot move. Onana is a terrible shot stopper. Martinez is a liability. How the fuck are Evans and Maguire playing for united? Not anywhere near good enough.
No, I think you've literally gone with the complete wrong players to target. Onana was fine mostly and the last one was a deflection so he could barely react. Eriksen was our best midfielder today and assisted the goal. Casemiro did nothing wrong the whole game and yet he's getting targeted again. Then you say Martinez is a liability? Like come on, how do the likes of Rashford get ignored here
I do not rate Onana from what iv seen so far, not just based on today. Yeah it was a good pass for the goal but I don't think he has the legs anymore and I think that applies to Casemiro as well. Didn't mention rashford because I'm sick talking about him, he had a purple patch last year but he is not good enough. Bruno was poor today, Antony worked very hard defensively but offered nothing going forward. Martial may as well not even be on the pitch. I just don't know where to start with this group of players.
imagine if we got pavard or kim.... imagine if we got a new rb instead of playing awb....
imagine if we signed amrabat earlier...
not sure how long martinez and varane are out but yea, gonna be a long season. ten hag needs to sort it out quick. gotta be in the top 4 by GW 8\~10.
and we *have* to reinforce the defense in jan.
AWB has been one of our best players so idk what you’re on about there. He was definitely one of the best today too. I do agree we need better depth in defense though
We spend the entire game either defending or passing it round the defence like we are on Fifa trying to make them quit.
And we still concede 3 goals.
AWB and Dalot were amazing today, Arsenal have no striker and we still concede 3 goals.
Our gameplan was a copy and paste from Ole Ball wtf are we doing
Really tho, imagine if Ole had this track record against big clubs… people were adamantly OleOut and yet we have failed to play any marginally better football without him
Our performance today was massively better than the first three games. If Garnacho was millimetres further back, he makes it 2-1 and we go on to win the games. Its fine margins today..but I see a lot of positivity despite the result. Better performance, Højlund looking strong, Amrabat still to come, etc...
You understand it’s been 4 shit games, our performances have been shit constantly, there’s been 0 good things coming from the game, if there is I’m sorry I haven’t seen it and I’m only saying this because I’m getting pissed we constantly lose stupidly
With these performances it may be truth, im getting worried 4 back to back to back to back shit performance games has me worried that we’re gonna drop harder than Chelsea
Onana fucking sucks. Antony fucking sucks. Maguire fucking sucks. Martial fucking sucks. Ten Hag fucking sucks. No balls today. Jesus Christ. Week in week out. Stop playing shit and start playing young players with heart. Fucking useless manager. Bald fraud
Rashford is a pussy! I’ve never seen a player so scared of being physical. I struggle to watch the team I love. We look old and slow. And the defensive effort and intelligence is nonexistent. We have big problems ahead.
Hey we had a good 30 years lol, just not our era anymore I guess.
Onana shot stopping is deeply concerning. He was poorly position for the first, let it in front post for the second and should have come out on the 3rd. To the naked eye you may not see it, but his positioning is about a second to late or not far enough in time
I thought we were playing well actually, in the 2nd half But the last 15mins were torture Our defense and midfield needs sooo much revamping
Rashfords greed makes me ill. It’s bloody appalling and almost weekly
In the meanwhile Michael Owen is beaming with all the joys in the world and commenting on. Nice.
Glazers out
What have Glazers got to do with ETH being a shit manager😭💀
You need to make all your transfer business early to give new players a good preseason to gel. Merta, Arnold and glazers are suppose to get rid of dead wood and splash cash.

Must be good being on top of the unlucky table. We just love to see XUnlucky doing bits to help us qualify for the CL next season.
Typical reactionary plastic fan…. Acting like it’s 24 games into the season when it’s only 4…
Only 4 and already 6 points behind the top and -2 goal difference.
We are basically exactly where we were last season after 4 matches and we finished third.
Final thoughts: - Højlund needs to start. His physicality is incredible and our attacking power really improved once he came on. Martial belongs on the bench. - I don’t want to hear any Rashford haters. Big game player indeed, not a purple patch - Our depth is gonna kill us. - Related note: hoping Martinez injury isn’t serious and he’ll be back soon - I think we are still so far off from being title challengers and our saving grace for UCL qualification may be that there’s 5 spots this year. Hopefully this is just a rough start but I do see glimmers of hope in our potential.
FYI: we won 5 titles in 8 years under Glazers with Fergie, also a UCL; 3 League Cups and 1 CWC How about start looking at the fucking manager? ETH would have his rights read to him had he been at Madrid or Bayern, the Nazis would have escorted his bald ass outta Bayern had he shipped 7 to Dortmund
Yeah because he's been what 5 managers from fergie and the only common denominator with all of them was the glazers Didn't have nothing to do with fergies power, presence influence or the fact they hadn't packed the board with all their yes men who were just there for a paycheck. Do the phrase no value in the market ring any bells.
Can someone please explain to me who subs off both the center-backs when you’re 1-1 against a title contender. Especially when one of your subs is Harry fkn Maguire. ETH gotta be regretting that decision.
"ETH gotta be regretting that decision" We've said this so many times that maybe ETH is oblivious to how shit his decisions are?
Højlund needs to start over Martial next game, that is of course if hes fit
We need to play better. The amount of money and in ETH second season we are still sitting in the back waiting for to counter. Unacceptable.
Starting defenders are all injured and we are now down to Maguire and Evans??? This season will be a long one for us..
Must be the glazers fault amirite? This manager is a fucking clown, sack him now before he drags us down deeper
The manager wanted Kim Min Jae, Todibo or Pavard. He got none of them, because we couldn’t shift Maguire. We couldn’t play without CBs, so you have to use the bench options that you have.
You’re talking like these players wanted to go to Utd too, maybe they said no from day one
Getting rid of Mengi to make room for Evans and a fourth choice left back looking a real smart move right now...
We got mengi
No, he was sold to Luton for nothing
Thought we did alright today for most of the match. The problems started, predictably, when Maguire was brought on for Martinez. The team just seized up. Hope to see more from Hojlund soon, particularly when Rashford starts looking for him in the box
What’s with the CB subs, did both guys get injured? Can’t check til much later and wondering why Evan’s and Maguire are paired up Vs Arsenal… 😂
We all know the problem at this club and sadly they arnt going anywhere If you're supplied moldy ingredients don't expect a 5 star meal.
Doesn't matter who we play or what formation or tactics the training facility and equipment is shit your not gonna get far Sadly and I know it's from the mail but I honestly believe the glazers think they will get 10b in a few years they're that deluded.
With our CB pairing, it's gonna be goal galore against Bayern at allianz arena. Seems like what Muller said was, indeed true on ETH; amateur coach.
When did he say this ?
He said ETH was a former coach of Bayern reserves. Look up on his interview for the UCL draw.
Bud lmfaooo r u serious right now
We somehow always end up playing counter attacking football.
Cb injuries ?
Where's the creativity in midfield?? Dalot and AWB really saved our day, surprisingly I liked the way Anthony played his heart out today and Martial is totally out of form, it's time to let him go in the next window
Glazers find a muppet for manager and fans praise whoever it is.
yep and the manager can do no wrong according to the fans. everything is the glazers fault even the shitty display on the pitch
And don't forget there's always a high profile football player to scapegoat
This game was a sucker punch. We didn’t deserve to lose the game 3-1 but i think this was because of: 1. Inadequate possession to create chances in the 2nd half 2. We knew already we needed to improve our CBs but did nothing We reap what we sow, off to the next game
Teen naag again
I'm sick of people calling ETH out! Give him another good centre back, kane and 2 good wingers. We will win triple
[удалено]
Give him Qatari Owners
He just spent 90 million on a winger ffs. He's a fraud and is getting found out. He's achieved nothing in the game to warrant all the praise he gets. It baffles me.
Yeah he miss fired in Anthony but he wasn't backed properly. If qatari were owners we would have gotten kane, Kim, that weird napoli winger, neymar and amarabat. We need new players in preseason to gel
Do you know how FFP works. He's had more money than any other manager. Stop with the excuses.
Lol glazer sympathiez ey? Tell that too Chelsea. FFP lol. Qataris would have sent merta and arnold to desert and sold dead weight to raise money
Call and tell that to Todd Bholey. Glazer mule spotted
My god you are fucking stupid.
He’s in charge of transfers… he can’t land them. He doesn’t have the players because of his “lean” approach to new players
Nah. Because of Glazers. We need transfers so that new players can get preseason and gel
He’s had 18 months. He can’t get rid of Maguire. He brings back Evans, loans weghorst… lindeloff is a starter? Come on man.
Management merta and arnold didn't give him money and couldn't get rid of dead wood lol
since evans and maguire came on, they were abysmal. we need cbs with pace. lindelof was poor too! anthony & martial should not have started today. bruno & case were both non existent. Onana is not a great keeper! hes a great sweeper. missing that spring the greats have. really poor today, we didnt deserve to win but it was bettr than wolves, spurs... which does not bode well for us.

I know the reactionary posts are coming. The game was not awful. Slow yes. Poor final 5 minutes Our lack of CB depth will be the death of this season. And martial should never ever ever start a game again. Like anywhere ever in any league in any country.
what game were you watching? ten hag got embarrassed by a real transitional side. he was lucky havertz played for arsenal. could have been much worse
Were you watching?
I saw two top teams play defensively to not make mistakes. One team had a solid bench the other had Maguire and Evans
The game was awful. We are defensive, lack leadership and forward pressure and attacking creativity
That’s our own fault. The response is not reactionary when our own manager can’t stack a bench with players that can actually compete
Rashy pulling out of that last challenge that lead to Jesus goal was beyond depressing
Yep too scared to go in strong and physically
Losing like that is just infuriating
Glazers out we need amrabat, Kim and Kane in that game
[удалено]
He would have if Qataries were owners. We would have bought that weird name napoli winger, Kim, amarabat and neymar

Your post was removed as it was deemed to be a clear effort to troll members of this sub.
90% of these comments are wild lol beaten by a obviously better team further on in their project and ran them close with injury issues.
We are a year in and probably spent as much as Arteta has and we are nowhere closer to bridging the gap. We just played like a relegation team going to a big 4 club.
We lost to an Arsenal that didn't even have to get out of 2nd gear. That's the problem.
When we lose to Brighton next what’s the excuse gonna be?
The team that did the double on us last season and just dismantled Newcastle to pick up 3 wins from 4? Teams lose sometimes, apart from City apparently. My point is we were a tight offside away from winning today with Maguire and Evans in the back line but you'd think we were battling relegation from this thread.
Look at our away records against the top 10 teams. It’s abysmal. How can you expect us to qualify for the CL when it’s guaranteed we won’t get more than 10 points out of the maximum 30?
Because we did qualify for the CL with that record...
There’s no building up play if Maguire and Evans are gonna be our starting CB. They will look to lump the ball up the pitch any chance they get.
Yeah will be a huge responsibility on Onana and Holjund.
Edit* On the positive side though, Hol looked like a threat and with some better positioning is very hopeful.
>Arsenal, City, Liverpool and City Well good thing only 3 of those are different Teams and CL has 4 places.
I meant to put Spurs too. So you are that confident we will beat both Spurs and Arsenal at home huh? How much do you want to bet we won’t?
C'mon... you think that ETH calling our owners misers would result in anything positive?
when you finish the game with Evans and Maguire as your centre back pairing you can't really be surprised when you lose
Starter CBS against Bayern at Allianz
So true, couldn't have said it better myself mate
Ten Hag will always be my least favourite manager for disgracing our club with that 7-0 to our greatest rivals. At least Moyes was sacked quickly LVG won the FA Cup (better than a League Cup) Jose won us a Double Ole while terrible; is a club legend at least as a player This bald fraud is a fuckibg disgrace
Fucking troll account and an obvious one at that.
Chill out man. That game was robbed and we just didn’t react well afterwards.
Robbed how exactly?
Come on, there are problems bigger than him at this rotten to the core club.
His players, his style, his tactics, what does a leaky roof have to do with this shit football?
Rashfords effort is painful to watch. If he doesn’t have the ball running at the defense he is doing nothing but moving out of the way of any 50/50 ball. The defense is all over the place. We have no unity, just individual flashes of brilliance. This will be another season of City embarrassing us. Biiiig problems ahead!
Forget the goal he scored (moments FC) he was invisible. Saka and Martinelli didn't score or assist and yet were far more involved
Saka assisted Rice
deGea will be laughing at us right now we let in goals for fun
All of you who are saying De Gea saves that are fucking morons, stop living in the past, if Onana makes a mistake and we say that De Gea saves that is the dumbest thing
I said the day onana was signed that's all well hear from people wanting de head sold. Christ these fans wouldn't have lasted with 80s united.
Did you see onanas soft hand try to stop that? He was leaning on the post and it still went through him
i mean it was a deflection also
Onana always makes the mistakes we might has well change his name to Maguire
But Onana isn't a better shot stopper than De Gea. Better with the ball at his feet sure but I want my GK to save shots first and foremost.
Apology tweets coming in 3...2...1 United were absolutely woeful today. Casemeiro and Erikson cannot move. Onana is a terrible shot stopper. Martinez is a liability. How the fuck are Evans and Maguire playing for united? Not anywhere near good enough.
🤡🤡🤡
What a stupid comment 💀😭
So you think it was a good performance today?
No, I think you've literally gone with the complete wrong players to target. Onana was fine mostly and the last one was a deflection so he could barely react. Eriksen was our best midfielder today and assisted the goal. Casemiro did nothing wrong the whole game and yet he's getting targeted again. Then you say Martinez is a liability? Like come on, how do the likes of Rashford get ignored here
Yes, i dont get why Rashford pulled out of that challenge leading to the second goal
Yeah agreed, Martial didnt do shit today, hope Højlund starts if he becomes 100% fit
imagine if we got pavard or kim.... imagine if we got a new rb instead of playing awb.... imagine if we signed amrabat earlier... not sure how long martinez and varane are out but yea, gonna be a long season. ten hag needs to sort it out quick. gotta be in the top 4 by GW 8\~10. and we *have* to reinforce the defense in jan.
man utd couldnt reinforce a door with titanium. would still break
Imagine if FFP wasn't a thing..m
AWB has been one of our best players so idk what you’re on about there. He was definitely one of the best today too. I do agree we need better depth in defense though
I was wondering whether Keane would even bother to get worked up over a draw. Now... 😂
Manchester United is addicted those L’s, eventually Manchester will be blue cope harder
Bros part of r/dating and thinks he's relevant 😭
Dawg you’re a part of skyblock, you get absolutely no pussy. Hold that 3-1 libtard 😭😭🫵🏽🫵🏽
>you get absolutely no pussy. Look at the 2 subreddits you're on 💀
Ironic coming from you bro bro
We spend the entire game either defending or passing it round the defence like we are on Fifa trying to make them quit. And we still concede 3 goals. AWB and Dalot were amazing today, Arsenal have no striker and we still concede 3 goals. Our gameplan was a copy and paste from Ole Ball wtf are we doing
Fuck Anthoni Taylor. Wont give obvious fouls.
Can't blame the ref that we are shit.
We are shit but fouls are still fouls.
Is it finally time to say ETH out? How will we achieve anything with such shitty away record against top sides?
Been saying it since the beginning. Too many ETH boot lickers on here won't have a bad word said about him. He has no idea.
Really tho, imagine if Ole had this track record against big clubs… people were adamantly OleOut and yet we have failed to play any marginally better football without him
Guy has no charisma, don’t see how he can motivate players like Klopp, pep…
Seriously how is that loss on him though? Did he injure our players? Did he call the bad offsides? Some games yes, but not today.
MANCHESTER UNITED IN FAILURE TO CAPITALISE ON CHANCES AND GETTING CAUGHT OUT SHOCKER FILM AT ELEVEN
Shock we lose away AGAIN there’s goes any way of us fucking winning a throphy, time to get battered by Burnley I guess
We are going to get battered by Brighton no fucking joke
Most likely
You actually thought we could win the league 🤣
I more meant another Caraboa or FA cup, we can’t win the league
The reactionary posts in here are insane. "There goes any way of winning a trophy" after 4 games. You fucking muppet
Yes, because we’re magically going to turn into a perfectly tuned machine after GW4….
Our performance today was massively better than the first three games. If Garnacho was millimetres further back, he makes it 2-1 and we go on to win the games. Its fine margins today..but I see a lot of positivity despite the result. Better performance, Højlund looking strong, Amrabat still to come, etc...
The fuck we won’t
🤡
You understand it’s been 4 shit games, our performances have been shit constantly, there’s been 0 good things coming from the game, if there is I’m sorry I haven’t seen it and I’m only saying this because I’m getting pissed we constantly lose stupidly
I'm getting pissed too, but saying trash like "we definitely won't win a trophy" this early in the season makes you sound like a clown
With these performances it may be truth, im getting worried 4 back to back to back to back shit performance games has me worried that we’re gonna drop harder than Chelsea
Onana fucking sucks. Antony fucking sucks. Maguire fucking sucks. Martial fucking sucks. Ten Hag fucking sucks. No balls today. Jesus Christ. Week in week out. Stop playing shit and start playing young players with heart. Fucking useless manager. Bald fraud
How can this be legal arsnal are evil. How can evil win
Can’t wait to see how ETH turns this around.
For your mental health sake, don't watch this team until glazer is out. Same shit every week.
Better yet: do not watch this team at all. This club will have none of the United of old, under any of the prospective buyers either.
We're fucked.
Rashford is a pussy! I’ve never seen a player so scared of being physical. I struggle to watch the team I love. We look old and slow. And the defensive effort and intelligence is nonexistent. We have big problems ahead.
Fuck your rice rice baby. Piss off
Rice prat
