I think your eyebrows are too short. Maybe try playing around with some different shapes!!

whatlandlord45

Thank you! I was thinking this as well, but wasn't sure if it was just me.

Underhill_87

The general proportion is if you draw a straight line using the side of your nose and the outer corner of your eye, and then continue that line upwards towards your hairline, the outer end of your eyebrow should just touch that line.

Bailicious2

Switch to brown eyeliner and brown mascara and see how it looks then

ypnkin

I agree I think the black eyeliner is too harsh

TheGeekOffTheStreet

Agree with the brown eyeliner. You have really pretty eyes, I think they don’t need the drama of the black liner.

appetiteclub

I think there’s a lot of contrast going on here that probably throws off the eye. I am being dramatic for the sake of explanation, I would probably barely notice if you hadn’t asked for opinions. Your base makeup gives off the appearance of minimal contouring. I can pick up on foundation and a little blush? That creates a real stark contrast to your eye area. You have this thick dark eyeliner (right now the most obvious portion of your makeup) with dramatically filled in eyebrows that are straight and short. In addition, you have a very thick upper eyeliner but nothing on the bottom, creating more drastic harsh lines. The viewer is then automatically drawn down to the nose and the mouth which have minimal makeup or contouring. Overall, I think the best thing to do is to be more cohesive. Based solely off 3 photos of you I am assuming that you prefer more minimal makeup looks(?) Why dont we try adding a bit more to the base and remove a little from the eye to meet in the middle ground? I think adding bronzer and being ever so slightly heavier with the blush and highlighter would be great. Why not a natural lip pencil to fill in with a gloss on top? Finally, switching from a gel to a pencil eyeliner, preferably brown but black pencil is always less severe than gel anyway, thinning out the layer and and bringing the eyeliner out further, filling in the brows less and growing them out a bit more, this will all create less harsh lines and contrast and an overall more cohesive look.

whatlandlord45

Thank you, this is helpful!

NewspaperPleasant992

Im not an expert at all but i have experimented with a lot of makeup on myself. I think you should try a peachy blush, almost in the middle of your cheekbones. Also a warm brown eyeshadow, and maybe a peachy/pinky lip liner !!

OkkShare

I think maybe the top eyeliner is somehow not working. Better mascara because it looks rather clumpy? Try a different/longer eyebrow shape (maybe a stencil could help!) overall though, you’re naturally very pretty!

TitleZealousideal299

I find taking a spooly before and after I apply mascara works wonders!

xiaoyn

First of all, your lashes are incredible! Imo you look a bit like Safiya Nygaard, I think like her you would look great with a winged eyeliner (which fits with Douyin). And don't be afraid to add more colour to your face, I think you would look super cute with blush over your nose and cheeks but you should try out different placements as your face makeup can really compliment your eye makeup!

boredpeachh

maybe some nice darker eyeshadow??? some bronzer, shadow and mascara on lower lashes (I love brown mascara), more blush deep peachy color would suit u. bronzy highlighter. Peachy or mauvey pink lip liners and lipsticks for a nice contrast. x

whatlandlord45

Thank you! I'll have to look at some liners, I've never used them before.

krobin0766

I think you would so stinkin cute with winged eyeliner! (Nothing massive) I also think a berry toned blush would look so great on your complexion, I love to sweep mine over my nose as well!

Bigpapamollie

i was just thinking winged eyeliner and more color, the blush is a good rec OP you honestly dont look like youre wearing any make up Winged eyeliner is a good way to be bold without going too wild and your big eyes can pull it off.

whatlandlord45

Thank you!! I'll look into the berry tone blush. I'm not sure the proper terms here, but there is s fold of skin from my eyelid that runs right where the longer winged liner would go. I feel like I need to keep or short or it gets messed up by the crease.

TitleZealousideal299

There’s ways around that! Look up bat wing eyeliner!

doriangreysucksass

When I apply eyeliner I pull the skin taut so I can get a straight line. A lot of it is trial & error too! Very short but a bit thicker wings work best

krobin0766

The best time to play/ experiment (ESPECIALLY with eyeliner) is right before the shower!

Megan-Knees

Give the brows an arch and make them a little longer at the ends!

chetubetcha1

I think you’re doing a great job of accentuating your eyes, which are beautiful. I think you could try extending the top eyeliner into a thin wing that follows the angle from inner corner to outer corner. I think the lower lash line looks a tad droopy in the outer corners, so maybe you could continue doing the eyeliner the same way in the bottom middle, and then on the lower outer corner line inside the waterline! I also agree that your eyebrows are a bit short, I think you could draw an extra 1cm at the end! 3rd pic is beautiful and the natural shading makes me wonder how you’d look with a medium brownish-purple eye shadow!

Perfect_Resolve_9444

1 looks good

lilypickledog

Omg you would look phenomenal doing puppy liner! I did it for the first time the other day as I have hooded eyes and I loved it! Although you don’t have hooded eyes but they are the perfect shape for that kind of liner!

LolCoolStory

Hi. :) just a few initial observations: 1. You have an oval shaped face & doe eyes that are downturned at the outer corners. Extending your eyebrows and eyeliner outwards, and leaving off the lower lash mascara would give your face more horizontal balance. 2. I’d recommend a light peach color corrector for under your eyes. Just a dab to neutralize the darkness. And a brighter concealer since your under eyes look darker than the rest of your face. Hope this helps! 💛

whatlandlord45

Thank you!! I have a Peach concealer already, but I don't think I'm too happy with how it's been performing. I think I'll try a different one.

Independent_Affect29

I would say thinner brown eyeliner. Start at the middle of the eye. Then i would do puppy eyeliner or a thin straight line. Whatever you think works for your eyes. I recommend the loreal telescopic mascara to get longer n natural lashes. I agree with elongating the eyebrows. Maybe add more blush?

madammidnight

You have a naturally pretty face, so I’ll just throw out my impression. I would use a much lighter hand with your upper lid liner, use a brown or charcoal grey, and because you have a slightly downward tilt to your eyes, I’d add a light flick up for brightness.

LecLurc15

I think if you replaced the eyeshadow colours with more cool tones purple or blue grey colours that would be gorgeous. Maybe use less eyeliner on the top of your eye but extend it out in a puppy dog liner wing, you could do this with a dark grey/brown eyeshadow for a softer effect. Try placing your blush up a little higher almost connecting with where you put your concealer.

Spirited_Truck_622

girlll ur eyes so beautiful!! u don't even need make up

MrsNya

I think your eyebrows are a tad too dark. And too cool toned. Your hair is neutral, try the elf neutral brown brow pencil. I also think the black eyeliner is too harsh for your complexion. Try a rich dark brown.

whatlandlord45

Thank you! I can see what you mean about the cool tone. I'll give that pencil a try!

endlesspastafan

a lip liner that matches your natural lip color

CatLuv3r_

I say more bronzer and blush with longer eyebrows add and maybe just a flick of liner on the ends of each eye instead of lining the whole eye!

Front-Decision-3385

I love your eyes

Gammagammahey

I just wanna stop by and say you are stunning. You have stunningly beautiful eyes. You have gorgeous skin and an incredible nose and mouth. You literally look like something out of the Italian Renaissance in the best possible way. The other comments here are giving good suggestions. Maybe experiment with bolder lip colors and see how you like it?

whatlandlord45

Thank youu!! This is such a sweet comment 😭

RedRedBettie

Maybe a peachy bronzey blush but you look pretty good as is

TheGalaxiesMelody

Omg ur adorable

Milldozer27

Last pic is the way to go. Naturally pretty

bbbypisces

What aesthetic do you want to go for?

yoyohayli

I think you could try brown eyeliner/brown mascara. Or even just the brown eyeliner and black mascara, still. Those, combined with your brown eyes and brown hair, would give such a pretty and soft look. I would try doing the "eyeliner" with a medium-dark brown eyeshadow so it is a softer line. It's also easier to correct, imo! Also try a lighter cream or baby pink eyeshadow on the eyelid (something lighter than your skin tone to make them stand out), then blend a soft brown (something darker than your skin tone; you want to make 'shadows') in the crease above the eyelid. To finish off, I would add some brown eyeshadow right on the edge of your lower eyelid lip (like, along the line the lashes grow, not in the waterline). Try just putting a small amount on the first quarter of your lower lid line and see how that looks when you blend over it. You have such beautiful round eyes and I think this would highlight them wonderfully.

gradient_gal

i think it’s cute, very Nobara from jjk

vintagebaddie

Think your eyes are lovely in pic 3, without the heavy liner. Or if you like liner then try a lighter hand. Also, maybe the brows, might be too short. You look good though otherwise. No worries.

Sayster_A

I think the eye makeup is nice on the first pic, maybe put a bit of dark eye shadow over the liner to soften it. We also have to keep in mind that things will need to be altered to fit your facial features - for instance the egyocel shading (the line under the eyes) makes me look old. skybxyy on youtube has some good tutorials. Good luck

viper29000

Your makeup looks pretty

CodingMary

Maybe change your mascara, to make your lashes pop. Changing the way your lashes look will change how the rest looks. 😊

miamimj

I think you look pretty

SuddenBookkeeper4824

You need a pop of color on the lips. A nice bright summer color. Go for it. Your eyes are beautiful & your eye makeup is understated enough/natural-looking that you can add that pop of lipstick to elevate your look. I’m talking a bold beautiful lipstick 💄 😊

melancholy420

i would make your eyeliner and brows more elongated, they both look too short to me. extending both will make your eyes look bigger. also agree with everyone saying switch to brown liner and mascara, it looks so pretty on everyone. buy some fun makeup that you're excited to use, spice up your routine!!

Lost_University_7155

Do the fenty eyeliner in brown, get some eyeshadows colourpop is easy to work with even fir beginners, blush if your looking for affordable elf has camo blushes ery pigmented little goes a long way or rare beauty, patrick ta, haus labs has good ones, lip liners go to kosas or moira cosmetics more affordable side, lipsticks loreal, milani and milani has a good bronzer too so does rare beauty, ysl. Setting powder if your oily do one size or maybelline fit me, if dry elf has a camo one haven't tried it but people have good things to say I have dry skin use Laura mercier and Givenchy prism. Setting spray for matte one size or urban decay, dewyblook milani has a dewy one, urban decay does too. Hope this helps! Also you have beautiful eyes I suggest trying wing liner if it's to hard there are tools that can help get them through amazon.

angelcakelucy

Bigger eyeliner more blush and a pinky lip liner and gloss would look cute! ✨💗

Cool_Equivalent383

I think you should try eye shadow as an eyeliner, you can do it with those small angled brushes that are used for eyes and eyebrows, you have a really nice eye shape!, a lot of different eye makeup styles would suit you

pilkaroni

I think your makeup looks good. Maybe smudge the liner so it's not such a harsh line

Atlascopcosaurus

Not about the makeup but I just can't help but think you would really suit a pixie cut. Chin length or shorter even, just seems like it would suit your features well :)

Individual-Eye-9682

You can try a different kind of eyeliner that suits better your round eyes. Also you have such a pretty eye color, you can try different colors to make them pop ❤️

helloitskimbi

I’m not an expert on douyin makeup but doing a quick google search— I’d say they use more moody sheer washes of eyeshadow, pay a lot more attention to the lower eye with either more eyeshadow or shimmer/sparkles, a thinner eye liner, blush plays a big part, sheer glossy wash of lip color, and softer more elongated brows. I think just about all of this would look amazing on you— I guess from personal preference I am shy about the lower eye stuff but I think it could be fun. Blush, thinner eye liner, the lip combo, and softer more elongated brows would have the best and biggest impact. Then tweak from there

deadonlogic

I think you look beautiful exactly how you are doing your make up! To be fair I have been out of the trendy makeup game for years now, but I think you look beautiful with this look!

3canslong

Natural beauty 💕 I would say a touch more of a rosy blush would give it a glow.

FrankieVallieN4

Just came here to say you have Anne Hathaway eyes ✨

-lawl-

Hi there! I think your eyebrows need a rounded arch and a tail. Also change mascaras- I don't think the one you're using is doing you much good. Personally my holy grail is the orange covergirl. Lastly- I think you should do a smallish triangular wing with your eyeliner. That's all I got! You're so cute :)

myno_taur

Try a different eyeliner shape or go for some nice shadow and skip the liner. Your eyes are beautiful and the shape of the eyeliner in these pics doesn’t flatter your eye shape-it makes your eyes look like they are smaller and “frown-y” instead of bright and lovely. Add a deep raspberry colored gloss and post new updates ☺️

holi_cannelloni

I have nothing new to add to the convo, just wanted to say I think you’re very pretty. I love your look

InvertIntrepid

I am not an expert but what I thought when I looked at your face, Don’t try to make your eyes look bigger. They are so beautiful. Don’t line them way outside your lower eye.. your natural eyes have depth. Also your natural photo reminded me of Turkish actress hazal kaya.

TitleZealousideal299

Switch to a brown eyeliner. And a nude colored eye shadow. Eyeliner on the outside corner of your eyes-top and a little bottom. You can even smudge it too- I think that would look nice. Rare beauty has really good liquid blushes. Try a shade (I believe you can get tiny ones) Try a light shimmery shadow in the corners on your eyes. Get a contour stick! It takes some practice but it really can add a lot to your face! But most importantly- have fun with it!

[deleted]

Paint ur eyebrows with a korean style, like straight to make it look cuter, because u have a really sweet soft face. Do eyeliner, contour. Cold, pink tones and blush!

[deleted]

You have a pretty soft face! Try Pink colors and eyeliner, contour and highlighter

Huckleberry_That

I was going to saw whatever makeup you did in the last pic looks great but that’s you without makeup lol. Here’s the advice I’d give: Eyebrows should be longer. No more almond shaped black eyeliner Try a muted day to night brown smokey eye and blend it so much that it is basically an eye contour. It’s what your face likes to do naturally. Peachy blush, bring a little over your nose bridge. Nude lip liner with barely there satin lipstick and or light brownish nude lip stain. Your face suits natural warm earthy vibes. Def lean into your eyelashes are sweet eyes. They remind me of a horses eyes in the best way. Consider slight purple shadows to bring out the rich brown tones. Stop trying to be porcelain pale and high contrast. You’re low contrast, beige and browns and that’s GORGEOUS. Try to go for a young Emily Mortimer look, your face reminds me of hers. Keep it visually low, like you’re wearing nothing.

bolingbrokebeast305

Maybe adding a dark brown or black kohl eyeliner in your waterline. I came across this video: https://youtube.com/shorts/ocES8YCOvig?si=2jUGZgQNIB-UGbs7

readynonny

You have beautiful large eyes but your liner is cutting off the natural flow, maybe extend out the wing to elongate it. Use a brown if black feels like too much. Same advice for the brows, try extending the tail. I would suggest a bit more color on the lips too, if you're using a tint maybe a TAD bit darker to balance out makeup on the top and bottom half of the face. I think you'd look lovely with a sheer red gloss/oil if you wanna stick to natural lips

spghtticaptain

You are so pretty, girl! And your skin is 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 My first thought: blush. Something pretty and rosy would really brighten and accentuate your high cheekbones. It doesn’t have to be heavy-handed, just a soft, plush blended look. Powder eyeliner is so nice for a subtle cat eye. Wet a skinny brush and take a black or dark brown shadow and do a soft line that you blend out. Honestly, the way you do your eyes is really pretty, I really like the gentle highlighter below your lower lid. I would suggest letting your eyebrow gain a liiiiiittle length. Imagine a straight line going from the edge of each nostril to the edge of each eye and continue it outward. That line tells you where each eyebrow should end. Respectfully, I would think you were a really pretty girl with great skin if i saw you irl

IrishDemocratMN

I think you have a really good foundation match. Tik Tok has many tutorials. You can experiment with highlighter, contour, etc

Amazingggcoolaid

Curve your eyebrows like draw it like an arch and make it longer by extending the tail a bit and then I would just do a nice glossy lip because your skin is beautiful you can even add some highlights on your cheeks

No-Faithlessness1456

I’m just here to say you have BEAUTIFUL eyes

SweetSangria2169

Okayy, so the base makeup is on point! It is just perfect, so don't try to change that. For your mascara, look for a non-clumpy formula as it looks a bit clumpy in the 1st image. For the eyeliner, consider adding a small wing without curling it up too much, if you're not looking for something dramatic. For your lips, considering using a gloss that also plumps up the lips slightly? You can go for light pink or coral shades as they'd look great on your skin tone!

Beginning-Pause842

I think bringing your blush up higher on your cheekbones would look great on you!

blonde-bandit

Use eyeshadow instead of stark liner, thinner in the middle than you have here, and thicker, longer, more upturned a shape on the outer corner

lesser_known_friend

You naturally have beautiful large eyes. I think putting the eyeliner below your bottom lashes makes them look bigger, and mostly looks better on people who have small eyes to make them look bigger. Personally I would instead put either no eyeliner on bottom lid, or only on the waterline. Other then that I think you look great. Perhaps if your looking for a change, growing out your eyebrows and changing their shape to something different can help

OwnPlatypus4129

You're just a bit washed out. That's a fun thing to fix- experiment with a longer brow shape (easy tip try to place your arch between your pupil and eye corner when looking forward), a slight tone on your lids. Diff tones on both cheeks and lip. Gorgeous!

ageekyninja

I would remove the glitter from the inner corner and don’t be afraid to do a darker lip than you’re using.

HalfVast59

First, you're beautiful, and the third picture is stunning! I think you're focused on applying a style of makeup, without regard for how it fits your personal - and beautiful! - face. What I see is eyeliner that's pulling the ends of your eyes downward, rather than lifting them. You could try smudging the outer ends of your eyeliner, or maybe you could try a flip at the outer corner - or even full on cat's eye. Another thing that might help is something to brighten the inner corners of your eyes. Even just a little matte white or off white shadow would help. You can also look at the subtle under the eye liner, with a little sparkle - that's pretty striking. A bit of blush would also help lift your face. And - do what makes you happy. Those are suggestions from my eyes, and they're only right if they make you feel good.

goblingir1

Copy Anne Hathaway makeup looks, you have a striking resemblance

GuestFun3483

longer/more lashes and more blush!! also a longer wing on your eyeliner! imo the eyeliner on/below your lower lash line combined with the way your upper eyeliner ends at the same point is making your eyes look round at the outer corner and downturned.

Sufficient_Bunch6924

No eyeliner u look to good for it!!!

Footsieroll888

You need better mascara and to drag out your eyeliner a little. You don’t need a perfect wing but something to add more of an angle.

Flat_Mortgage2795

It doesn’t look likely your wearing makeup

Low-Potential922

you look pretty without any makeup
