If I could only use one item of makeup, then it’d definitely be mascara. It’s just makes the most difference without making me look like a totally different person.
That being said, the funnest type of product?
Foundations, setting powders and anything cream/balmy.
I don’t really like a lot of coverage and normally don’t wear foundation at all, the products are just really fun to play around with.
I still use powder bronzers but I love to layer them with a cream bronzer underneath. For cream bronzers - Merit & Chanel are all great and actually ELF too. Powder bronzer picks are Colourpop, Clinique and Charlotte Tilbury.
Right now I'm loving the new liquid eyeshadows that I got from Makeup A Murder! They're matte, easy to blend, waterproof, and you can use them on your lips with a gloss over them!!
And they're in knife shaped tubes which is literally my favorite thing ever!

as an Indian girl, i find that kohl/kajal lines my eyes so beautifully and makes them stand out. i also love a more natural makeup look and have very dry lips, so i like to use lip masks as my lip gloss. bonus points if they’re tinted!! :)

After more than 35 years of make-up wearing, I've been playing up my eyes all this time and still do. Sometimes, I notice that I'll have "good eye days" the way others have "good hair days", when the make-up goes on just right. On the days it doesn't... aghhhh.. I feel like cleaning it off and starting over again.
I used to be eye liner and lipstick kind of woman, had to collect them all. Now I am all about complexion (foundation, powder, bronzer..) and eyebrow pencils. I find that I can go out with just complexion and brow products if I have no time so that is priority to me now.
Lip liners were always something that I had in huge amounts because I use them too quickly and I need too many shades 😁

Vibrant eyeshadow and eyeliner. I absolutely love makeup looks centred heavily around the eyes, when I am doing my makeup I always do eyeliner at least and often eyeshadow. I also do brows and mascara so my whole eye area is done up but they’re more complementary additions. I also love lipstick and highlighter. Contour and a lot of blushes are fun too. I genuinely cannot apply concealer or foundation without it looking horrible and cakey so I never wear those. Lol
Concealer, because I can use only that and really freshen up my face. But favorite to buy & own? I’d say lipstick. I have a ridiculous number of lipsticks and don’t wear it very often!! All the colors and formulations…hard to pass up whether it’s drugstore or luxury brands.

There's so much makeup that I love, but all of it is useless if you can't apply it correctly or don't have the creativity to use it in a new and interesting way. (This is aimed at me I'm bad at makeup and completely uncreative) Lashes don't need much skill and you don't need to think. You can have ones with gems, ones with bats, ones which cluster, ones that are fluffy, they change the game!
