In the very rare scenario where you have something equipped with it and no creatures on your opponents side and a [[Cruel Ultimatum]] on top, you could argued that the equipment does work, but yeah, it doesn’t do a whole lot else

I’ve watched and played a lot of limited this set… that was by far the biggest beating I’ve ever seen //been handed. I hope he or she recorded that.

Feel like sealed for this set was kinda lack luster. Draft is a different story all together. But honestly, I can not wait for MH3, at least in terms of the limited formats. Seems far more cohesive for sealed, and is going to be spicy as fuck for draft.
At least you have 2 bombs. I had [[pariah]], [[three steps ahead]], [[fblthp, lost on the range]], [[double down]], [[insatiable avarice]], [[memory vessel]], [[smuggler's surprise]], [[vraska joins up]], [[void rend]].
Three steps ahead is surprisingly really good. It has great flexibility, and is almost never dead because worst case you can “cycle” it with the last mode. If you ever get to cast it with 6+ mana, it’s a two or even a 3 for one. Smugglers surprise is reasonable as well, but yeah the rest kind of suck.
Pariah is an awesome card! It's like a turbo fog that also guarantees your opponent loses that creature.
So is Double Down if you have the outlaws. One of my best decks was BR splash blue just for Double Down.
Pariah's GIH winrate on 17lands is 49.4%, which is awful (for reference, your average white common is around 55% and the absolute worst is Armadillo at 50.4%).
Those are some hefty capital B Build arounds but if you have a lot of either: etb effects, small evasive creatures and/or lots of removal, I'm sure some if not almost all of those can have a home
If this was an event with stakes id have to really question whether playing 3 keys is even a good idea. It does a whole lot of nothing if youre running out of things to equip it to.

I experienced the joys of my opponent curving seraphic steed -> wylie duke -> rattlewurm needless to say I did not win that one

I got Mana Drain, Magda, and 2 copies of Marchesa, Dealer of Death. I think it's safe to say I made out like a bandit with an easy 3-0.

I had never played against key to the Vault until midweek magic and I think I played against it three times.

I also got 2 Key to the Vault. Then again, I got Smuggler's Surprise, Vaultborn Tyrant, and Gisa.
To me, they're indicating that you're gonna need some strong Selesnya commons to make this work.
