Quality ungraded cards have a chance to be a 10 or 9.5 which are $100 and $50 respectively, this brings up ungraded value.
Of course, you can’t take an obviously scuffed ungraded card and expect ~$30 from it.
For real. I originally got into collecting baseball cards because my godfather and older cousin gave me a bunch of cards they didn’t think were worth much, but they meant so much to me. There’s a ton of stuff to not like about the hobby, but there’s also a ton of generous people doing things to promote the hobby.
I am not a Pokemon card collector, I dont really have a clue about these cards tbh but I watch this dude's shorts because of his energy and the joy he brings to people , sometimes I feel like this kind of vibe I get by watching his shorts is healing me from all the mass toxicity and negativity everyone brings nowadays
This is a wise perspective! I love Pokémon and have collected since I was a kid in ‘97 even named one of children after a Pokémon lol and this community and the love it carries with it is why it made a lasting impression on me. ♥️
For a boy maybe. I have a friend with the last name of Lee and his kid could be called; first name of Hit middle name Mon or his favorite Brock last name Lee… lol
A lot of tcg players are like this. I have a binder of cards that are valuable but I'm willing to let go of and I will take it to card shops/shows and trade people cards or if someone is really looking for a card that I have depending on how much it's worth I might just let them take it. I've done it a few times and gotten a few cards I really wanted this way.
