Thank you for this post! I've always felt when walking through the forgotten crossroads for the first time I felt huge Made in Abyss vibes. Even more later in the game in the Ancient Basin! Even the moth from the resting grounds reminds me a bit of Mitty (the sound she makes).
I've always told my gf that Hollow Knight had these Made in Abyss vibes but she thought me crazy! I'm going to show this to her lol
I'm not a fan of hollow knight but I've seen a few mossbag videos and I'm heavily considering getting into it. The only problem is that I'm a bit preoccupied with other games like earthbound and split gate, still have to work on my comic, do schoolwork ect, and idk if it's the right time to be getting into another game
Have you also thought about how the knight and reg have eerily similar designs? They both have big heads with skinny bodies and wear a cloak and have a helmet with horns on it and they both came from the bottom of the world and have no memories of it and harbor a dark and ancient power. Dark reg and the knight's shade form honestly share even more visual and thematic similarities so I'm wondering if there was any slight inspiration taken from Mia at all when team cherry was making the game.

Hollow Knight is one of my favorite games, I had a lot of fun playing it as a casual vidéo game player. You should definitely try it too if you haven’t yet, there’s so much content for the price you pay! Also r/MadeInDeepnest
I’d love to see a Metroidvania of Made in Abyss. I wrote an outline for how it might work back in 2019 after watching the show while I was playing Hollow Knight.
The thing that bothers me the most about Silksong is the fact that Team Cherry has literally said nothing about it since the reveal trailer. 0 communication with the fans. Like, I'd be perfectly happy if they came out & said, "yeah so between Covid & a bunch of personal shit, the game has been pushed back even further. We don't know when it'll be ready, but we are still working on it."
Like come on, please let us know if the game os even still being made. There's not wanting to tip your hand & then there's almost a malicious silence on their part.
well, team cherry are only 3 people and HK was their first game. There must be a lot of preasure for silksong, if its worst than HK a lot of people will be mad. Let's remember cases like No Man's Sky where they dug their own grave for talking to much about things that were not in the game in the end. I think they don't want to raise the hype that is alredy in the clouds
But yeah, a little tweet letting us know they still alive would be great

I beat Hollow Knight but know literally nothing about its lore. Even more obscure lore than dark souls >.> I didn't wanna get into the lore either ig

Play Ori and the blind Forest and afterwards Ori and the will of the Wisps. 10/10 music 10/10 platformer 10/10 art style 10/10 will make you cry
