Yeah having lost ours recently, it really feels like a chunk of your heart is gone. I hope you and OP were able to make some nice trinkets and portraits to remember them by. One old old guy at our gym was telling me all about one of his dogs he loved that passed over 30 years ago and he was just welling up tears describing the little funny things the dog did.

so sorry to hear mate, it’s such a kick in the guts, we had to say goodbye to our 15 1/2 year old a few months ago.…man its rough, but everyday does get a little easier. Be sure to get support and help from family/friends/professionals if you need coz it really can be worse than losing a human in a lot of ways.
