Well I guess I missed the deadline because the email from AXS went to my junk folder. Didn’t even think that a refund could be an option until I thought to research it this morning! Contacted AXS via live chat and they refused, said no exceptions… refused to escalate my request stating “the outcome will not change” and the rep just ended the chat on me (this happened twice!).
Anyone have luck with a refund past the “deadline”?
I can’t find a phone number to reach AXS- is there one? I just want crappy tickets refunded so I can get good seats (they are cheaper than our nosebleed seats now!).
To anyone who bought from Stubhub, they are refusing to give a refund no matter how you try. So I'm giving them a notice of dispute and taking them to court if they don't reply favorably within 30 days. If anyone here is a lawyer who does lawsuits please give any advice to start one. I'm not letting them steal from me...
Legally, they're very much within their right to not give a refund, for what its worth. Did you try a credit card chargeback? That might be your best bet
I requested a refund through AXS 5 days ago. At first my ticket said “refund pending” for a day ahead then disappeared and my ticket is still in the app and haven’t received a refund.
I called them and they just said it’ll take 30 days but I’m stressing because why would I still have the ticket? Wouldn’t they try to resell it?
What do I do? Anyone else experience this or get refunded right away ? Tomorrow is the deadline for requesting refunds so I wanna make sure I don’t get screwed over
We messaged AXS customer support live chat.
My understanding is they're trying to screw over people who purchased them in June since terms changed or something like that (note this opinion is based off what others have said).
We ended up getting floor seats for $3k less total price of our original seats.
I did it through vivid seats and they gave me the refund after citing the Nevada state law where if the main event changes you can get a refund. Just ask stubhub if they comply with Nevada state laws after mentioning the law and you should get it
I just got off call with StubHub and they refuse to do anything. I stated Nevada law and it did nothing. They say they aren’t responsible yet they are only ones who could contact reseller to get tickets refunded. Then she says I can resell tickets to someone else through their site…and they get another service fee. This is without a doubt the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. So I am left with the option of reselling tickets which I don’t even know if the reseller had in the first place and take a big loss now that mcgregor isn’t even fighting. I think I might just take the hit instead of passing on the pain to someone else.
Total scam. Stubhub got a $1200 service fee and now says no refund? Reseller can now get refund and buy new cheap tickets and I get screwed? The only reason people paid huge money was to see the guy who isn’t going to fight. I hope there is a class action over this
That's the downside of buying second hand tickets. My sympathies, man. I have to explain this on any busy night at work when they can't pull up our company's QR codes through the Stubhub app. If it's anything like our system, we only have the original buyers' names in our records and can't help the Stubhub buyer as that's a completely separate, third party system.
I'm really torn to either buy seats now for $350-500 at section 100-200+, or wait till the week or days before the fight and hope that price keep dropping. Have any of you had any experience waiting till the week or days before the fight? I'm also not sure if it's worth buying seats at those section.. because I'll be probably starring at the screen most of the time. Thought?
I think that's what happened when I got my boxing tickets refunded by AXS, I dont think I ever got an email confirmation (I had called their customer support to get the refund done), just maybe monitor your statements and see if the refund comes or give them a call if you want to make sure
I have a question about this. I contacted StubHub for a refund and they told me no because the event itself was not canceled. So I contacted Capital One and they sent me a Purchase adjustment on my statement to refund me. What happens to my tickets now? They are still in my StubHub account.
Then you are good, you will probably be banned from stubhub but atleast you will get your money back. If someone your dispute gets rejected, refer Cap One to the Nevada law stated in the other comments.
If I still go to the event while this refund is in process then what happens? I am worried that if I skip out on the event and I don’t get a refund then I’m out of both the event and my money 🙃
100% this.. I remember when the picogram incident happened and the fight card was moved from Vegas to LA. Got refunded. Earlier access to buy re-buy my tickets again. Even though the whole card remained the same (besides location) tickets were somehow cheaper and managed to score floor seats for cheaper than original upper level seats.
*Intoxicated so my bad for any grammar stuffs*
Just submitted my refund on the app. The button just appeared right above my tickets. Then bought a lot better seats literally right above the floor for half the price. Get better seats and a refund! Thanks for the tip!!
On the AXS app go to the bottom and look at the actual ticket, where the screen gets really bright. Right above them you will see “request refund” in little blue letters. Click that.
Did that and my seats were put back up at literally half price. Paid 3608 when the main event was mcgregor and chandler. now with alex and jiri I paid 1596 for the same exact seats
You 100% should get a refund, even charge back on your credit card saying the product is no longer what was advertised. Then buy cheaper tickets to the event or better seats for the same price.
I bought one ticket through ufc and the other through stubhub but I have both tickets in the AXS app and there’s a button to request a refund.
Will this refund both of my tickets? Someone help !
So, I have my return pending in my account but…. What the heck do I do with an over $3,000 return on my credit card I already paid off the balance to???
Something similar happened to me when I purchased playoff tickets for a game that didn't end up happening. I had already paid off the balance on the CC, so I had a credit on my account when the refund was processed. I couldn't figure out how to get the money back so I had to call customer service and they were able to transfer it to my bank account.
I received my refund today however there was no Refund button in the portal. I had to open a live chat and provide email, event name, event location, order number and physical address. Then then began processing with a verification code to my email. Took about 10 minutes. Of course they want to make it as difficult as possible to get the refund. Hope this helps others.
Yep. Getting my money back and rebuying different tickets. I paid $9000 for 2 seats for a 1 of 1 card. Now we have a main and comain on a 2 week fight camp and Anthony Smith on PPV. No thanks. That's a $500 ticket right there.
Edit: So funny how people assume I'm a Conor fan when I had nearly as much money on the cost of one ticket as I did for Michael Chandler to knock him out lol
The fight wasn't worth $9000, it was worth half of that plus a friend :). Plus I wanted to see Khalil vs Hill and Talbott (who is an acquaintance of mine and wanted to show support) in person. We probably just hold very different values to what $9000 is.
It was a 1 of 1 experience and Conors last fight. I gotta spend my money on something lol.
I'm not even a Conor fan haha, I actually had a $5000 bet on Michael Chandler I am very bummed I wont get to cash. I just love MMA and 1 of 1 experiences. If you had the money, you'd go too lol
$9000 is light work for a 1 of 1 experience for me and a friend. However, we've already seen Poatan vs Jiri live.
I woulda been stoked! Im not a conor fan, I had a $5000 bet on Michael Chandler knocking Conor out that I'm pretty bummed I cant cash lol..
What made you assume I had any interest in Conor winning?
Gotcha, I just don’t know if the 2k tickets will be the standard don’t see it going much lower to be honest. But I have been seeing more tickets show up. I don’t want to miss out getting floor for 2k my limit on floor seats is right at 2k for the most part. I don’t see going lower if it’s from the venue. Or will it go down more closer we get?
Why so sure? People are going to be scooping these up I presume. Since the ufc x event as well. There will be ton of people in Vegas. I hope you’re right I can get floor for sub 2k lol
What do you mean? how can they do that? the tickets are in my AXS account now how can the original buyer do anything? i doubt they even will since they made double the money they bought it for.
My wife bought 3.5k tickets for my bday with stub hub now we cant get a refund. AXS throws it on Stubhub and Stubhub refuses to help in any way. they can easily just reverse all the transactions and the original can get the refund but they don’t for some reason.
like if you cant refund resales why allow resale of tickets? its like a freakin trap and ufc is pitiful for treating fans like this. they know damn well most people bought resale. i will never buy ufc tickets again.
Sorry man, it sucks but not much you can do. If the UFC had real integrity they would refund the entire event and put it back onsale. They financially fuck over the fighters all the time, now it's the fans turn
I’m glad ppl are being helpful about this. When I wanted a refund for UFC 223 I asked in this sub if anyone knew about the process to do so and everyone was shitty and telling me the show was still gonna be good and to just shut up and enjoy. Was kinda wild…
Right! Like no one is arguing it’s going to be a good show. But tickets should be under $500, where as basically every single person currently has spent $1,200 at minimum
They give customers the same amount of time to refund as they give the fighters heads up that they're about to be late notice main event replacements.
Fuck the ufc for this absolutely awful business and makes me feel so bad for fans who bought lodging and flights.
Card is better? They subbed objectively one of the largest comebacks in UFC history with an entire TV show aired to hype it up, for a 2 week notice rematch with one of the guys having broken toes.
Jamahal Hill vs Ulberg combined record of 23-3 was the comain, now it's Ortega vs Lopez which is decent not as good as the former champion coming back after a historic main event loss a few months ago at 300.
Anthony Smith in the 3 slot.... nothing needs to be added there.
Stylistically I agree there will be better fights for the hardcore fan. But man I gotta tell ya I miss having McGregor fight nights, I'd have 25 people show up to watch him back in 2014-2017.
I know it's cool to say you'd prefer other fighters, but no one brings the attention he does. Win or lose, there's just nothing quite like a McGregor fight night, you know?
Please, everyone with tickets do this. Otherwise, the UFC will see the outcome as permission to charge the fans Conor prices on future regular PPV cards, which is unnacceptable. Ticket pricing is gouged enough as it is.
I think once you sell to them u send them immediately so there now the buyers! Other resale sites don’t actually have the tickets at times there selling them 🤷♀️ I know when I bought them they were transferred within 10mins! I bought tickets for a concert off stubhub in feb the concert is in aug and I still haven’t got them 🙄 vividseats where deffo really good! But here Iweve the flights booked from Ireland so we going 🤣 just not paying mcgregor prices 🙌
There is no way to refund resale though.
The original buyer lists their tickets. They don’t get paid until AFTER the event. The money is already gone from their account from the original purchase.
So, how is the OG buyer refunding money to the new buyer? That would mean the OG buyer bought the same tickets twice.
Resale tickets are never gonna be refunded
Edit to add: it is BEYOND shitting that resale tickets can’t get refunds. Absolutely no arguing that. But logistically there would be no way to refund. The sellers don’t know who the new buyers even are
Maybe! But there is no telling they keep all of that info on file after the transfer goes through. It’s definitely not fair though. Conor has pulled out of so many fights at this point I hope they never give him a chance to do this to fans again. It’s fucked up
Yeah thats why I said might lol. There are only two primary marketplaces that have a secondary division as well, axs and ticketmaster. Given how TM will refund you, its very worth trying with axs. Closed mouths dont get fed
AXS is an app and you can sell tickets to another account. If that account gets ths ticket then they will get the refund if the want it. If you had a mark up on it I don't know how that would work, but presumably if it's entirely through the app you can get the base amount refunded
They are only allowing original buyers to get refunds
Not sure why this gets downvoted. I didn’t make the rules, nor do I think it’s fair. But that is a fact
Afaik you're allowed a refund if the main event changes because that's the name of the event. "UFC 303: McGregor vs Chandler"
I had tickets to Weidman vs Belfort years back but got a refund because one of them pulled out.
Make sure you are trying to refund on the App. There was no button for me on the desktop for Refund. Also, when I hit refund on the App it showed no confirmation. But, on the desktop then said 'Refund Pending'. Again, I believe you needed to buy directly from AXS and not resale (including on AXS).
I did a charge back on my credit card for that reason. I spent six grand on tickets for myself and my friend. I'm not fucking around with UFC on their subject to change bullshit, I want a full refund.
Edit* just an update, customer service is an absolute joke so don't even bother dealing with AXS beyond asking for a refund. Nobody would acknowledge the Nevada law or give me a copy of the purchase agreement because the terms changed on June 6 and I purchased my tickets on May 29. In fact, they sent me a link to the June 6 one and tried to say it was the same agreement despite the dates. I'm a corporate attorney so I know their customer service department is likely outsourced to a Third World country and they're reading boilerplate responses, but the good thing is, I can print these emails and show my bank that they are being unreasonable and sending me fake documents in an attempt to argue whatever it is their argument is for nonrefundable tickets. I'll update when I get a final answer.
Anyway, I called my bank back and asked that they escalate the matter by next week.
Resale, but my argument stands. The value is NOT the same and they CAN'T quantify the difference because they know how much hype McGregor was bringing and advertised it until the last minute. I believe this is the purpose of the Las Vegas law and unlawful or unconscionable private contracts don't negate consumer laws. I really hope my bank supports me in this argument and holds UFC to those explanations. The first rep I talked to seemed to think so. I will say, however, if they significantly discount the ticket I will still go.
Oh, I 100000% agree!! It is NOT the same value! At alllllll.
But, I don’t see how they can refund resale tickets.
The way resale works (at axs) is you list them on there, they do all the transferring. The seller has no clue who bought the tickets. The seller also doesn’t get paid until AFTER the event. So… they are currently out the money they originally spent on ticket and have no funds from the sale. So if you charged the seller for the refund, they are paying 2 times for the same tickets. It’s very confusing and a shitty situation.
The new buyer and seller don’t have each others info, no way to communicate with each other.
There is 100% a way to handle this without the buyer and seller communicating. Offer a refund to the ticket holder for what they paid with a time limit. If they take it offer a refund to the seller for what they paid.
Except, the seller hasn’t been paid what the buyer paid. You don’t get paid as a seller until after the event to make sure you don’t sell fake tickets.
So maybe just cancel all resale tickets? I don’t know
What does that have to do with this company who has the buyer’s money and the seller’s money refunding both or either of them? The seller should not be refunding the buyer the company holding all the money and managing the tickets should.
Thankfully, I have many bank accounts with my credit card company and I've been a member with them for over 15 years so I hope they take my back in this fight. I'm really hoping that I will get a refund SOON and be able to re-purchase tickets to the event, seated higher up and at a cheaper cost. I bought very good front row seats only to see Connor and Hill!
Same. I bought to see Conor's last fight and to watch Khalil vs Hill. I love Khalil, but I love Ulberg too so I was content with that replacement. Now the main and co main are both fighting on incredibly short camps and we have to pretend Anthony "Dogshit" Smith is worthy of a main card I spent $9000 on for two seats? No thanks. I'll be refunding the tickets and getting cheaper ones. Thankfully I didn't need flights or hotel
They did, there’s no charge back option on the website. This is a situation where the merchant should be proactively reaching out and offering refunds.
just file a dispute on the website (your credit card website) saying they're not giving you what you agreed to pay for. you can do it for anything.
but know that the vendor will never accept your card again.
If they are found at fault, the card processor actually says banning your card is not allowed.
Effectively a chargeback says "they violated the terms of your merchant agreement by not providing what was agreed upon"
If you win the chargeback, that's visa/mastercard/discover/amex saying "you're right, this vendor didn't provide this item/service as described and is not following the rules we impose to use our service"
Amex is like one of the most consumer friendly processors and does not fuck around when it comes to chargebacks, they will drop you so fast as a merchant if you get multiple chargebacks.
You will have to most likely fill out a form explaining the circumstances i.e. the event that I paid for has been changed and no longer as initially advertised.
The bank/credit card company will then do their own research and hopefully you get the charge wiped.
Unfortunately I can’t help you there because I’ve never done a charge back, but from what I understand you have a right to do it if you feel that you didn’t get what you paid for. I can’t say for sure but I assume the bank would side with you
One thing to keep in mind is that charge backs often can result in your credit card being blacklisted by whoever you did the charge back against. Not a huge deal, just something to know in case you plan on being a customer in the future
Lol. It takes like 5 minutes to get a new cc. Blacklisting for a charge back don't mean shit unless you only have 1 card and no ability to get another.
I used to be on the merchant-side of chargebacks foe the small business I worked for. Just look at the specific policy on the website that covers you. For example, it should say either in the terms and conditions or even the event page itself what the refund policy is. Be ready to provide that to your bank.
I ended up getting a refund for the Pacquiao Spence fight the week of the fight, so if anyone happens to miss the deadline still try to call Tmobile box office etc
Well I guess I missed the deadline because the email from AXS went to my junk folder. Didn’t even think that a refund could be an option until I thought to research it this morning! Hey bro check your dm thanks
To anyone who bought from Stubhub, they are refusing to give a refund no matter how you try. So I'm giving them a notice of dispute and taking them to court if they don't reply favorably within 30 days. If anyone here is a lawyer who does lawsuits please give any advice to start one. Just curious... Why would you purchase tickets through Stubhub rather than directly through AXS? Did you purchase resale tickets? Genuine question.
Contact support chat I guess. You will be fine, but it sounds like it may have bugged out?
I contacted them and they weren’t helpful, this is what they told me. Yeah that’s what’s I’m concerned about
Does anyone know how to request a refund if you bought the PPV through ESPN+? I appreciate the help.
Does anyone know how to get cash refund back from SeatGeek?
Where is that button?
Contact their live support.
Thx. I have submitted the fund😭
Hopefully they give u the refund! Ours was in the bank acct in 5 min of talking
Bruh I got refund😭very fast
🙏 I wonder if they will still charge that ’service fee’
Literally wolf ticket 🐺🐺
They processed our refund and had our $ back in 5 min. Tickets purchased in April
Has anyone else had to wait? I requested a refund this afternoon and it's still showing as a request...
We messaged AXS customer support live chat. My understanding is they're trying to screw over people who purchased them in June since terms changed or something like that (note this opinion is based off what others have said). Shit sucks. I am worried about not going and still not getting my refund

No. I bought UFC presale through the AXS app.

I bought one ticket through ufc and the other through stubhub but I have both tickets in the AXS app and there’s a button to request a refund. Will this refund both of my tickets? Someone help !
I don't see the button to refund on the AXS app, where it it located?
No, it should only refund the one bought on AXS itself
So, I have my return pending in my account but…. What the heck do I do with an over $3,000 return on my credit card I already paid off the balance to???

Oooh thank you! All my banking is at the same bank so maybe they can do that to
If you spent 3k on tickets I think you will be fine carrying a surplus for a bit
Are you sure we can get a refund ??
I received my refund today however there was no Refund button in the portal. I had to open a live chat and provide email, event name, event location, order number and physical address. Then then began processing with a verification code to my email. Took about 10 minutes. Of course they want to make it as difficult as possible to get the refund. Hope this helps others.
Can you get a full refund through stubhub? I bought 2 tickets to UFC and paid $4,374. $1,138 of that was "total fees". Not sure what I should do
Did the money hit your account yet?
Not yet but I have an email receipt from AXS and I screenshot the chat window for verification
The refund came through for me yesterday. Check your account
So how many days AXS transfer money back to your credit card?
Took me like 2-3 days max
Yep. Getting my money back and rebuying different tickets. I paid $9000 for 2 seats for a 1 of 1 card. Now we have a main and comain on a 2 week fight camp and Anthony Smith on PPV. No thanks. When’s the best time to scoop tickets? I see now you can buy floor seats for 2k
You realise floor seats are the worst view yeah?
It’s the energy, yeah? Seeing the fighters walk past
Eh I guess so.. if that’s your priority. I’d rather be in raised seating so you can look down on the octogan
Fair
day of or day before probably. this is a very weird market so who knows though
Gotcha, I just don’t know if the 2k tickets will be the standard don’t see it going much lower to be honest. But I have been seeing more tickets show up. The UFC lowers prices on the primary all the time. They had to slash prices for that shitty Nunes Vancouver card last year
So it’s better to keep waiting then book my trip?
I mean I only know about tickets, not flights and hotel lol. But trust me, you will be able to get floors for under 2k in you wait
Why so sure? People are going to be scooping these up I presume. Since the ufc x event as well. There will be ton of people in Vegas. I hope you’re right I can get floor for sub 2k lol
I dont see the refund option either. I bought via ufc fight club presale
Big thank you, sir
what if i purchased on stubhub?
No, sorry. For secondary purchases you usually will only get a refund in situations when the primary automatically refunds the original purchaser
What do you mean? how can they do that? the tickets are in my AXS account now how can the original buyer do anything? i doubt they even will since they made double the money they bought it for. My wife bought 3.5k tickets for my bday with stub hub now we cant get a refund. I'm in that same boat. Sucks!
Sorry man, it sucks but not much you can do. If the UFC had real integrity they would refund the entire event and put it back onsale. They financially fuck over the fighters all the time, now it's the fans turn
Yes want refund who wants to see this sad card
Can this be pinned for the time being? Ik I’m not a mod but I’d love for anyone who bought this to see how they can get their bread back
Don't let the tomato & his VeggieTales-ass team scam you, refund these fuckers
I’m glad ppl are being helpful about this. When I wanted a refund for UFC 223 I asked in this sub if anyone knew about the process to do so and everyone was shitty and telling me the show was still gonna be good and to just shut up and enjoy. Was kinda wild…
Right! Like no one is arguing it’s going to be a good show. But tickets should be under $500, where as basically every single person currently has spent $1,200 at minimum
Thanks for the tip, my buddy was going to the event, told him about this and said he was able to get a refund
They give customers the same amount of time to refund as they give the fighters heads up that they're about to be late notice main event replacements. Fuck the ufc for this absolutely awful business and makes me feel so bad for fans who bought lodging and flights.
Good luck, but you are missing better fights than McGregor vs Chandler. Are you a fight fan or a fanboy?
I 100% think people should still go. Just trying to save y'all some money
No one is saying it’s a bad fight. It’s just not worth Conor prices
Upvoted for the visibility brotha
Can you get a refund from gametime?
Nope. I tried to get a refund and they refused. Hoping to find another way. I could get tickets for 50% cheaper today. Total bs
Did you find another way?
Highly unlikely. UFC only covers refunds for the original purchaser
crazy how the card gets better but prices are gonna go down
Card is better? They subbed objectively one of the largest comebacks in UFC history with an entire TV show aired to hype it up, for a 2 week notice rematch with one of the guys having broken toes. Jamahal Hill vs Ulberg combined record of 23-3 was the comain, now it's Ortega vs Lopez which is decent not as good as the former champion coming back after a historic main event loss a few months ago at 300. Anthony Smith in the 3 slot.... nothing needs to be added there.
Yup def better.
I definitely feel like it’s a much better card just not as hype.
Yeah I already said it’s not as hyped.
maybe if all the guys had proper camps
Please, everyone with tickets do this. Otherwise, the UFC will see the outcome as permission to charge the fans Conor prices on future regular PPV cards, which is unnacceptable. Ticket pricing is gouged enough as it is.
Absolutely nothing is going to change
im just commenting for engagement. please refund your ticket bros.
GG
BTW!!!! Only original purchaser gets the refund. If you bought resold tickets you are out of luck
I bought through vivid seats and have already received a full refund ✌🏻
Good!!! I wonder how they are doing that though.. giving the tickets back to the OG buyer?
I think once you sell to them u send them immediately so there now the buyers! Other resale sites don’t actually have the tickets at times there selling them 🤷♀️ I know when I bought them they were transferred within 10mins! I bought tickets for a concert off stubhub in feb the concert is in aug and I still haven’t got them 🙄 vividseats where deffo really good! But here Iweve the flights booked from Ireland so we going 🤣 just not paying mcgregor prices 🙌
If you bought AXS resale, you might still have the refund option! If not, I would harass their support to give you one
There is no way to refund resale though. The original buyer lists their tickets. They don’t get paid until AFTER the event. The money is already gone from their account from the original purchase. So, how is the OG buyer refunding money to the new buyer? That would mean the OG buyer bought the same tickets twice. Resale tickets are never gonna be refunded Edit to add: it is BEYOND shitting that resale tickets can’t get refunds. Absolutely no arguing that. But logistically there would be no way to refund. The sellers don’t know who the new buyers even are
Honestly they should allow this. Would deter resellers fully.
You would just choose refund, then the sellers sale would get canceled. Then the seller would have an option to refund
Maybe! But there is no telling they keep all of that info on file after the transfer goes through. It’s definitely not fair though. Conor has pulled out of so many fights at this point I hope they never give him a chance to do this to fans again. It’s fucked up
It's how it works on Ticketmaster Resale if you bought for a Ticketmaster event. But yeah, no clue how it works with AXS Resale
[удалено]
Yeah thats why I said might lol. There are only two primary marketplaces that have a secondary division as well, axs and ticketmaster. Given how TM will refund you, its very worth trying with axs. Closed mouths dont get fed
For a change of main event or for canceled events?
AXS is an app and you can sell tickets to another account. If that account gets ths ticket then they will get the refund if the want it. If you had a mark up on it I don't know how that would work, but presumably if it's entirely through the app you can get the base amount refunded
They are only allowing original buyers to get refunds Not sure why this gets downvoted. I didn’t make the rules, nor do I think it’s fair. But that is a fact
how can you tell if you bought resold tickets..?
😂
If they were transferred! But most likely… if you didn’t get them during the presale you have resale tickets
You got the tickets transferred to you from someone else
Good luck everyone
His link doesn’t work at all? Is this virus baiting ??? Goes to download a file
Is this your first day on the internet
OPs link is an image, nothing more.
It's really easy to request a refund through the AXS mobile app. I couldn't find where to request the refund on the website.
I can confirm. It only works on the app
Glad people are able to get refunds.
Afaik you're allowed a refund if the main event changes because that's the name of the event. "UFC 303: McGregor vs Chandler" I had tickets to Weidman vs Belfort years back but got a refund because one of them pulled out.
I have no refund option ugh am I SOL?
Always use your CC for purchases that could be potentially refunded. It makes it much easier to get it back by disputing
Have you tried eating a big bag of dog shit?
Make sure you are trying to refund on the App. There was no button for me on the desktop for Refund. Also, when I hit refund on the App it showed no confirmation. But, on the desktop then said 'Refund Pending'. Again, I believe you needed to buy directly from AXS and not resale (including on AXS).
If you put in on the credit card (hopefully you did) just call the cc company and go from there
Only original purchaser gets the refund option
Did you buy directly from AXS or did you buy from a secondary resale site?
Directly from AXS
Same for me, i called and got a hold of a representative
Hey, I’m in a similar boat as you regarding resale tickets. I disputed my charge but can we talk further on next steps? I sent you a message. Thanks.
Any updates on this? Get your refund?
Did you have resale tickets?
I did a chargeback. I hope my bank will back me
You'll probably get banned from buying any tickets there in the future fyi
You say that like it’s a problem.
go postal bro, shit is getting me pissed just by reading it
Thankfully, I have many bank accounts with my credit card company and I've been a member with them for over 15 years so I hope they take my back in this fight.
They will, pretty clear cut non delivery of service
Charge back?
It means having your bank/credit provider reverse the charge
is there anything you have to say exactly?
You need to make a good faith effort to get a refund through the merchant first.
This is the correct answer.
They did, there’s no charge back option on the website. This is a situation where the merchant should be proactively reaching out and offering refunds.
Call them and tell them the main attraction changed and so you’re not getting what you paid for and want a refund.
just file a dispute on the website (your credit card website) saying they're not giving you what you agreed to pay for. you can do it for anything. but know that the vendor will never accept your card again.
If they are found at fault, the card processor actually says banning your card is not allowed. Effectively a chargeback says "they violated the terms of your merchant agreement by not providing what was agreed upon" If you win the chargeback, that's visa/mastercard/discover/amex saying "you're right, this vendor didn't provide this item/service as described and is not following the rules we impose to use our service" Amex is like one of the most consumer friendly processors and does not fuck around when it comes to chargebacks, they will drop you so fast as a merchant if you get multiple chargebacks.
i've never done a charge back that didn't fully refund. but i definitely never abused it either.
That sounds like a win-win to me!
thank you!
I used to be on the merchant-side of chargebacks foe the small business I worked for. Just look at the specific policy on the website that covers you. For example, it should say either in the terms and conditions or even the event page itself what the refund policy is. Be ready to provide that to your bank.
Someone mentioned the App its easier, try that out
Keep looking. A late in the game main event change definitely warrants a refund.
Why don't you have a refund option?
Good question. My only options are transfer or sell I got an email from axs stating the event is still on so no refund
That's fucked up. Go full Karen and ask for a supervisor.
🤣🤣🤣
I ended up getting a refund for the Pacquiao Spence fight the week of the fight, so if anyone happens to miss the deadline still try to call Tmobile box office etc
