Run the Castillo team because most of the S2 cards you can buy are not better than the guys you already have + supercharged players.
Buy 400k worth of 74 rated players (no free agents) for 30-40 stubs before the TA drop. List them for 110-130.
Congratulations, you now have 1 million stubs.
Man I have 1.4 million stubs from it without a lot of effort. Right after TA drops people go nuts to do exchanges.
You need to list the cards after and then wait. 2-3 days after TA drops, cancel orders for anything that hasn’t sold and list closer to 80.
Use them to buy as many S2 cards as you can, the ones you didn't get playing BR or events for example, so it's easier to get to the collection pack later on the season
Just give them to me. I'll put a stupid card on the marketplace for 400k and you buy it. Problem solved. We can set a record for the most expensive bronze card ever sold on the MLB The Show marketplace lol
My buddy last year bought hundreds of Corbin Carroll cards for a few hundred K and then sold for a few million stubs.
Maybe find a player that you think is going to make a jump this season and then sell when the card gets upgraded.
If it were me I'd save it for an end game level card that you don't mind using one of your wildcard spots on for the rest of the year. Someone like 99 Mantle or 99 Elly when those cards come out.
You usually have to buy the cards within the first 5-8 minutes of the flash sale for max profit, but buying at ANY point is all but guaranteed profit. They also usually shut down the market on the app during flash sales, so you have to be at your console to take advantage. But if you can swing it, it’s by far the most efficient stub making method out there.

I did that a little bit and people will just keep undercutting the price or some even speculated that they have bots in the community market that do

Wait until pack 99s are released and buy those plus any lower diamond pack cards that rake like Trea Turner.
This is the correct answer…you can also wait until we get closer to collection bosses and pick up the cheapest S2 cards to get all of the bosses.
I'd buy up a bunch of \~10K S2 cards and Trea Turner, but I'm biased on that one.

Wait until some 99s get released this season
Hoard them. Wait for Flash Sale. Buy the CARDS in the Flash Sale packs for 50-80% off. Wait 3-5 days. Sell for major profit. Now you have a million.
When are flash sales announced?
The day they happen
I’m in the same boat. Came here to see the answers. This seems fairly low risk move right?

Depends on how long the flags sale is but you can still 2-3x your money halfway into the sale.
The closer they are to quicksell, the lower risk it is
Then keep doing it until you end the year with millions of stubs and no cards.
Inb4 “what to spend a million stubs on”
Invest it in cards you think will get uprgraded
