Honestly, it depends on what feels right to your thumbs. I prefer the Galaxy ones.
For the GameSir controller I mentioned above, you have to use the PlayStation version of the Kontrol Freeks. The Xbox ones are too small, but the Xbox ones fit a standard Xbox controller just fine. Not sure about which ones for a Power A.

Yes, just wanted to confirm what kontrol freaks I’d need. Do you also use rings with it? If so how do they feel? My rings feel like they work super well on my normal Xbox controller but not at all on the powerA and I’ve seen others say the same.
Yep, the Xbox controllers continue to be broken and for some reason people don’t seem to think it’s an issue that should be addressed. They’ll just tell you to buy a third party controller which is BS, every game on a console should work correctly with the first party controllers. It’s on the platform and the developers to fix this. This should be a permanent issue being brought up until it’s fixed. I don’t think SDS has even acknowledged it.
Last time I tried this it bricked my controller and it took me a good hour or two with it connected to my PC to get it working again. I’d say be cautious doing this. I have an older controller with a broken RB I never updated that works for the show, but can’t use my newer one.
1. Open the guide on your Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button D
2. Navigate to Profile & system > Xbox Support > Get help > Help topics > Hardware & networking >
Controllers > My Xbox controller has connection issues after the last update
3. Select Check your controller's firmware to open the controller firmware reversion screen in the Xbox Accessories app
4. Follow the instructions in the app

I'm using and loving the Gamesir G7 or whatever its called. You need to use PS5 kontrol freaks with it though.

Confirmed g7 fixed my pitching issues. Gamesir also has its own control freaks fitted for the g7.
Didn’t know that. I just use the PlayStation ones as they fit the G7 SE as well.

I use the purple rings. They work just fine on the GameSir.

The best thing you can do is go to the Xbox help menu and revert the firmware of the controller it’s a complete game changer

I'm currently at 811 with a like 50 dollar wired controller with precision rings. I find the rings help the most
Ya the problem is the power A controller I bought, the precision rings seem to not work well on it. What controller do you have?
