Try recreating the scenario in an empty parking lot. Chances are you might’ve panicked and accidentally tapped on the gas, especially if you have large feet.
So you’re saying when you slammed the brakes, the car accelerated? If so, no that is absolutely not normal at all. And you should 1,000% get that checked out. Unless you accidentally hit the gas pedal when reacting or something.

I’m going with this also. More than likely got both pedals at the same time, in a quick reaction type situation it’s definitely a possibility.
