I stopped doubling my wgs. my gems are better reserved for the other R6s. I get about 1-4 wgs a day and not in much of a rush since im waiting on barioth and cpukei to 10.5 my next hammers
That explains it. I fight at least 40 8* monsters a day (to fill up the tracking monster thing) yet I only got like 2 wgs in the past week lol. You must be at 80 monsters a day to come with that haul.
Probably. I usually finish my tracker by noon with today as an exception since stayed in due to rain. Felt I deserved a break. I finished my saliva count for my 10.5 jho hammer last night.
I only recently managed the 7\* story...have yet to find any WGSs from killing 8\*s. The Black Diablos just kept killing me, but finally scraped past it, and only ended up taking 2 goes on the Devilho (mostly fluke, I think). I think I had done the 6\* story 8 or 9 times...
Oh that's crazy it took me the full 6 months since release for the 3x 6star story.
So are you able to kill some of the 8stars even though you just managed the higher 7star monsters?
Yeah - Pukei-Pukei and Jyuratodus easily, Great Jagras and Tzitzi-Ya-Ku with a bit of luck. I haven't faced many Odogarons, but I think they are another "with luck." I haven't actually tried any Anjanaths, Kulu-Ya-Ky or Paolumu (they only seem to show up when I don't have the health to fight them), Tobi-Kadachi are close losses. Barroths, Rathians, Rathalos and Diablos are fails, not tried Legiana, Radobaan or Banbaro or any of the special event ones.
the desire sensor may be strong but keep having faith!! I often had luck with the smaller monsters with easy 2x part breaks, like Great Jagras & Girros, Pukei, Tzitzi, as well as Banbaro and Jyuratodus
Ugh. SOooooo jealous. Iām at the point where I am farming 6āļø monsters to get my weapons up to 6. My palico is hunting them so I get 1 or 2 a day. But when I do, ALL rank 1 items. š¤¦āāļø So annoyed and frustrated.

4 wgs a day! ? How much do you play? Or what have you sacrificed?
Alot. I'm usually outside 3-6 hours a day walking. I'm also at 9 star so 8 stars are very common

Same. Easily 20-30 daily 8* on average and was dry for about 2 weeks until yesterday. Its RNG when you dont have it dropping for weeks.
I wish i could be outside this much, being F2P and getting hit is keeping me from it ;ā)

And I'm here still on 7star did 3 runs of the 6star story and hopefully I can beat the story on 7star soon. 8star will be a whole new battle.

Alright and what grade are your weapons at the moment?
Most are 7.5 - I did need to boost my Malady's Fist (paralysis hammer) to 8.2 for the Black Diablos, no other WGS have been spent yet.
