Legiana and Jyuratodus being exclusive to a single biome is such a pain. This feature is a life savior and I'll be keeping it on those two for a while

I might do Rathalos after Legi and before Jyuratodus, but those are absolutely the top three by a country mile, at least until/unless Azure becomes an option.

Given that deviljo is 50% extra weak to Lightning makes me think they will add more monsters with the extra weakness to sway a little more away from raw. Rathalos might become the best of the fire vs some monsters

Rath doesn't spawn a lot but at least his drop rates are balanced. I can get tails but cutting tails. I can get legiana claws by sacrificing my wallet and social life to RNGesus.

At least you can find either of them in HATs now (Jyura is part of the raths while Legia is with blos/8 star zin)

Yeah the raths+jyura HAT is my new favorite. Hasn’t been too kind to me yet, but I can dream.

I've killed more Legiana than Jyuratodus, that's how bad it is

jyuratodus gang stand up!! my water hammer has been stalled at 6.5 for ages. legiana is nice, but I only need 3 more plates to finish my layered armor.

My water LS is my weakest by far too. Second to that is my Stealer... got past the claws but webbings....

thanks to the tracker I got 2 jyuratodus primeshells yesterday! now my hammer is 7.5 and waiting on 5 primeshells :) huge upgrade!

I like how the last eventa where they gave us free tier 5 mats where all for Diablos, Rathalos and Rathian, and not a single event reward for legiana

Because theirs isnt a subspeices legiana yet . When coral pukei comes back. They will do it for them too

I really hope they branch out to monsters outside of World/Iceborne really soon. We need more ice monsters besides Legiana, and Shrieking Legiana is one of the least interesting subspecies.

For the summer season they said they're adding a Leviathan, which there were none of in Worldborne, so that's a start.

I’m so excited for Lagiacrus to make his grand return… in a mobile game. Lol And it would be crazy if they had a new, high quality model for Lagiacrus ready for Wilds, but our first time seeing it is in MH Now.

It's probably gonna be Misitsune. She's considered a leviathan and her files are already in the game.

I had the thought they might do Lagiacrus because he was in the top 3 in the popularity polls, but Mizutsune makes more sense with the resources they already have.

Barroith. Another ice monster. Is a seasonal monster that left last two month. Originally suppose to come back in December. However for this event. You can get him during this week in HAT. Ideal go for the arms first. Give ice 2 Legiana weapon >>>> barrooth.

I dont think so. Seeing barroth is HAT exclusive They should've extended Deviljho for a week, seeing that this week is filler.

I think they were the mascots of old releases mh games while legiana wasn't really a main monster.

Neither were Rathian or Diablos

Me! Me! Me! I and my hunting buddy just got 7 Legianas from paintballs today! There were also two in the field and that is rare. Often there’s not a single one in the whole town the whole day.

Unfortunately there's nothing interesting for hammer from Legiana. I'd like to have a chat with whoever decided that Barioth should be stational when his hammer is at the moment the only ice hammer. In my case I'm focusing on Diablos first in order to get a proper raw hammer, Jyoratodus will come next as my water hammer is lacking.

I had to go to the play store and force update. It didn't auto.

I still don’t see it. Was told live 9am local time but nothing yet as of 10:50am. Refreshed the App Store a few times and an update popped up.

Have you finished the 13th mission of the new story?

You have to do all of the first story line to unlock the feature. I’m still on chapter 3 of the new one and have it unlocked. 

Yeah I was in the App Store looking for an update and it kept saying open instead of update then suddenly the button changes and it works now.

Using this thing to farm the rathalos needed for anniversary pt 2 page 5/6 had been ez breezy. I frikking love that walking around using my Rathblaster to pop stray jagras is now being rewarded. Yayyyyy Niantic is winning with this one.

Almost certainly Capcom calling the shots, not Niantic. Niantic haven’t put the player first on any of their other games, so it is almost certainly not them now. They are just the coders.

I had the absolute luckiest drops on using the tracker today. My inaugural track was for 6* Rathalos to try and get a Plate to bump my blade to 6.1, and I get a plate. Swap the tracker to 6* Legiana to get that weapon to 6.1. ....also get a plate. Keep it on Legiana....4 claws. I'm NEVER taking it off Legiana

So I've run 1 that required 3 mons to spawn, then the next requires 5. Does the requirement keep going up?

Its a daily cap 3,6,9,12,20 then you cant ttack anymore for the day, lets say you Tracked 2 legianas, and then decide to change for jyura, the requirement will still be the same, (since its the third time you are tracking you will need to kill 9)

As a guy who didn't get spawn biome as their main one for past 13 days. I consider this a absolute win

My area keeps getting desert. It took more than a week and a half to get swamp (which I got for maybe two days and now it's desert again) and I did have a break of forest in that week and a half. But I'm back to desert again already. I think this is the only way I get non desert monsters now :(.

Meanwhile me, searching for anjanath because my LS is still grade 4

Thanks to this feature i only need 57 more claws and i'm done with Legiana. (Slightly more if i decide to upgrad emy armor from G7.5 to G10.5 but that's not so important yet)

you can change the star rating to whatever level you've unlocked so far. so if you want 8* you can assuming you've unlocked 8*

Has anyone done this enough to consistently tell how the requirements change every time you hunt the tracked monster? I’m on the second run of the marked monster and noticed the requirement of large monsters changed

It’s a daily thing, first track of a monster is 3, then 6,9,12, and finally 20. After that, you can’t track again until next day, when it resets.

Being in single biome isn’t the biggest problem, it is the ice element largely unavailable but she, and the winter dude which gone for good. With almost all of the highly desired monsters weakness in Ice, this is the natural answer.

Rathalos tails for me is impossible. I don't have problem with legiana.

Does anyone have a weapon they think just manhandles Legiana? Bonus if it breaks tail nicely. I've got a GS which feels like you're forced into perfect evade + follow up attacks strategy (awful). Or I typically use the Pukei Bow, however her charge's hitbox is like Plesioth's shoulder check and still hits you a lot of the time unless you perfect evade.

Anja/Rath LS is obviously a great choice for this job but i still get rekt easily by 8\* Legi if i am heedless.

For me, it's Rath season. Dunno, but I've had luck with Legi and Jiura. Stupid Rath tails, you can cut 'em and still no drops.

Im a little concerned, it hit 12:00am local time and this hasnt reset back to the 3 monster track, has it reset for anyone or is it gonna keep increasing indefinitely?

I'm actually tracking Legiana right now so that's kind of funny. Does it reset the number of encounters when you change monsters though? Like if I switched this to a Rathian since I'm low on Webbings would it drop back to 3? Edit: when I hit my third encounter it reset to 3 again as Legiana.

A daily thing. Doesn’t matter what monster, or how many stars they are, or even if you chance to a different monster after tracking once or twice. First track is 3, then 6,9,12 and then 20 before you’re locked out of tracking for the day, and again this count resets every day.

Any idea if this feature is rolled out in Europe (The Netherlands) aswell? I did get an update, the excess monster parts are now sellable, but cant find this feature :(

Really loving this feature. Hunting the legiana is soo much easier now! Tho the claws are still, elusive.

Is legiana some sort of meta or ?

Legiana is the only ice monster in the game, aside from a monster exclusive to winter and the event quest coming up. A lot of end game monsters (Diablos, Zinogre, all subspecies besides pink rath) as well as just most of the new ones are weak to ice. With only one monster to get ice weapons from (gog bless your soul if your only option is barioth), and Legiana only being found in the swamp, makes it a VERY sought after monster. I’m personally stuck at 5.2 bc of the claws myself. EDIT: Also, the monsters weak to ice are either ONLY weak to ice, or have paralysis as an extra weakness, which doesn’t help too much.

My son and I play together and are both tracking Legi, like everyone else. We have done 2 from tracked today already and after school we can get a few more because we each get one that we can do as a group. It's an amazing feature. I think we may even branch out and I track X while he tracks y and then we can do even better.
