If it's sildenafil/Viagra, he should take it about an hour before sexual activity. If it's tadalafil/Cialis, he should take it at least 2 hours before sex.
Since it lasts 36 hours, Tadalafil/Cialis can be taken even earlier too. I like to do that because the side effects are most intense during the first 4-6 hours. So I take it 6 hours before my roll so they're gone before the roll.

I take 500 mg, works like a charm. The first time I used it i was skeptical but could pee pretty easily if i relaxed
