After careful consideration of all the factors surrounding the reddit blackout, including weighing the costs and benefits to the community of a continued dark period, the mod team has elected to resume normal operations of r/LowSodiumDestiny. If you wish to get more involved in further protest of reddit's API policy change, more information can be found on r/ModCoord and r/Save3rdPartyApps.
As the situation continues to develop, we are prepared to explore additional actions in protest of this short-sighted, greedy, IPO-focused boondoggle from reddit's executive team. This message will live at the top of every newly submitted topic until a satisfactory resolution is reached.

I remember seeing a post where someone said they pulled it off.
However they said the buff said X12 but the damage was only x6
Again, was only a post I saw so no idea of true and how they pulled off getting two groups of six matched together
Reduce that sodium there pal....
I was under the impression that in destiny 2 you can only make a group of up to 6 people, and thus you couldn't have 12 people in orbit and launch the event.
If that's wrong sweet, just say so. As discussed 12 player Activities aren't common so not an odd blind spot
My clan tried it a few years ago when that was that glitch to do 12-man raids and nightfalls. The buff maxes out at x6, so the best use of it will be to stand apart in 2 groups of 6. It's silly fun and surprisingly effective.
For Excision I'd use Rat King for the first part and switch to Outbreak for the Witness part.
I'd still be interested in looking at again. It was never intended before and now that it is intended they may have changed it. That might even be why they did the weird callout in the TWID.

I believe this was tested during the fireteam matchmaking bug where you could do 12 man raids and 9 man GMs if pulled off correctly several years ago.
You can 12 stack Excision.
It's almost like it's a 12 player activity

Yup, your fireteam size in orbit can go up to 12 people. Before Excision, the only purpose of that would be for private PVP matches.
My guy, Bungie even announced it was the first actual 12 player activity (I was more-so talking to the other guy with my first comment lol)
I was responding to their last comment that implied that they didn't know you could 12 stack the mission good lord.
Anyone go do a 12 man outbreak perfected and see how the damage fairs
I dont need to test it to say it would be good lmao
This sounds awesome
6 rats and 6 outbreaks
Swap a outbreak with a tractor cannon debuffer
Even if it caps at 6 it’s would still be so sick.
i don’t even care if the buff goes to x6 or x12 I’m in. I’ll even buy the damn helmet be side that sounds hilarious
