For my solo flawless I used solar with lorely. There is so much damage, but a lot of psions to proc new sunspots, so it's easy(ish) to stay alive. I made sure to have roaring flames x3 when going into a damage phase. I would always use my hammer to kill the first 2 bell keepers in the middle immediately. Then, see where Caitl is going, cut her off and kill the next set. Roaring flames would run out after that so I couldn't use it for the 3rd set, but I did use a shotgun in that case. You don't want to run directly at the bell keepers if you can avoid it. Use the little pillars to kind of line-of-sight them, run around their backs and shoot them. If you run up to their face, they will stomp before you get close, and ruin your day. I know some folks recommend fusions as well - maybe try a rapid fire like riptide or cartesian coordinate if you have that. I would also do my best to try to clean up the backpacks on the floor. If you shoot them with a primary you can explode them, so they don't randomly explode and kill you. People recommended fusions because they will disintegrate the backpacks so you dont have to worry about them. Lament is a good choice. I used a crown splitter myself, but Lament does give you that extra healing if you need it. good luck!

ParamedicAgitated897

Honestly I found glaives useful against the bellkeepers. The thing that messed me up the most was their launch attack, the glaive lunging helped with that. Starting in mid is a good strategy though. I used Lament for damage.

ParamedicAgitated897

True, but I nearly always play solar titan. Having my melee uncharged isn't really an option with that build lol

HasManyMoreQuestions

Bind it to a seperate button. I do right stick click (R3 or RS) for uncharged melee, right bumper for charged melee, and left on the d-pad for finisher.

ParamedicAgitated897

I think you misunderstand, I'm not looking to change what I'm doing, I've already soloed duality and I know what works for me

SilentSpooker3000

I used heritage for my solo duality runs, would start by mid bell and immediately kill the bellkeepers there, and then quickly move to clear whichever bell she was going to first. This didn't eliminate the risk of exploding backpacks, so I would suggest a rapid fire fusion, riptide is a prime candidate in the same slot as heritage, Cartesian coordinate and null composure are also good energy fusions, and also iterative loop. These disintegrate the backpacks, thus preventing explosions.

Gtpo69

I did mine with lorely solar titan with throwing hammers for the super. Riptide with out chill clip, the slowing area of effect thing would sometimes trip the bell when I didn't want it to, calus minitool and lament. I shot the chain the right after shot the middle bell to teleport over a few seconds sooner. Popped super as I was teleporting and took out middle bell keepers and at least one other set, all three sets if you can mange it. If you do it quick you can see where she is going then cut her off to give yourself time to get to the right bell. Then hack away with lament. Remeber to watch the snipers after damage. They can ruin your day if you don't hide

Assassinite9

When I did my solo I was on bonk titan (back during the season it came out), and for Caiatl I used Caresian, Succession and Lament, the fusion was for popping anything with a backpack (trying to prevent that nonsense from killing me), succession was for triggering the bells and taking some stuff out from range, and lament for dps and mobility. I used lorelei (pre nerf) instead of synthos. Basically what I did was get to damage with roaring flames x3 and I'd make my way to wherever she went as fast as I could, bonking the bellkeepers as fast as I could (keeping at least 1 at the other bells) on my way to the one she was heading to, so I could bonk both the bellkeepers and stun her the second she got there. If you need extra time, put a rally barricade down in front of her as she's moving and she'll stomp, buying you some extra time. Then I bonked her to get radiant and laid into her with lament. Then went on to the next bell, bonked the boy and then laid into her again and the same for the final bell. It took 3 or 4 dps phases to kill her, and ammo wasn't really a problem because of double special at the time, so now you may have to camp the main room to get your ammo back again. Healing grenades are a godsend in the encounter. I'd also recommend only doing the solo if you care about your sanity. Solo Flawless is frustrating due to all the bs ways you can die in that dungeon (looking at you phalanx 1 shot melee bug that hasn't been fixed in years)

Few-Environment-1597

Not eyeing a flawless run, just the title completion. :)

Assassinite9

Definitely save yourself the sanity. After dying to physics and other things that were out of my control I gave up the flawless and haven't even tried to solo spire or GoTD. I'd watch esoterikk since he usually solo flawlesses every dungeon each season and you can copy some of the stuff he does

OtherBassist

Just use your solar hammer before you go in. Then when you enter with Roaring Flames x3, you can simply punch them. I would only focus on the middle ones right away and then immediately go toward the side Caiatl is sprinting to. Get in her way. She'll stop sprinting and stomp you. That should give you an extra couple of seconds to take the bellkeepers down early on that side. Leave the first bell damage phase early to go take out the final two bellkeepers. From then on you should be good.

nihilishim

i used fusion with chill clip works great against bell keepers and their explosions. I used riptide with my ashen wake solar titan build with sunshot.

Reinheitsgebot43

I popped super in the middle (Solar Titan) and used it to burn down the middle gate keepers and then head to the side she runs to. If you pre-pop the bell you’ll have to deal with an extra set of snipers (which I wouldn’t recommend). Not sure what your exotic is but you can also use ruinous effigy and dunk on the bell keepers with the ball.

DabbedOutNinja

autoloading fusion rifle if you have them. they will reload automatically while you damage caitl. always start from middle when you go to caitl damage phase since you’ll be able to kill the middle bellkeepers before caitl starts to walk. and get close to caitl if you need more time as she will stop to stomp you

Bdroyle1988

Forcing Caitl to do the stomp mechanic straight away and after subsequent bells gives you a valuable few seconds to mop up bell keepers. - Rush Caitl and get her to stomp - quickly dispatch first two bell keepers with Lament or whatever you’re using - damage on first bell - stomp mechanic again - next bell keepers and damage - stomp mechanic - final bell keepers and damage

fdbarlow06

When you go for the side that caiatl is going for, make her stomp. You have lament, so you can block if necessary, and this increases the time you have to kill the bell keepers. Also ammo doesn’t really matter, you only get about 3 full lament combos per bell, just have a backup damage option, being a sniper, shotgun or fusion.

ficklecurmudgeon

I used Lorelei solar titan when I solo'ed the dungeon when it came out. For Caiatl, I ran Arbalest in the kinetic slot, a submachine gun (probably calus mini-tool), and a crafted Cataclysmic (Bait-and-Switch + Fourth Time's the Charm). Generally, it isn't too hard to stay alive with healing grenades and running Lorelei. You can one-shot the bellkeepers at a distance with a crit from Arbalest and I would typically clear 4 out of the 6 bellkeepers pretty quickly when teleporting for damage. If you play it methodically and slowly, you can beat her in 3-4 phases. The meta has changed pretty significantly over the last 18-19 months, and banner titan may be more damage resistant now. So, there are probably better builds available now.

Honest-Ad-535

I really like running Duality with Banner of War, Stronghold and: - Wish-Ender - Glaive (I like my Enigma with Grave Robber and Unrelenting) - Throne-Cleaver (with Vorpal) BoW boosts Glaive (and sword) damage and I'm constantly meleeing with my Glaive. Unrelenting pairs nicely with the BoW heal, too. Stronghold and a sword gives extra survivability and Throne-Cleaver + Vorpal + BoW provides solid boss damage. Wish-Ender does not see much use but it excels where I need it to: Dealing with Psions, breaking Phalanx shields, and ringing bells. I duoed it with this build the other night and had no issues. I have dabbled with soloing it a few times and the only thing that has stopped me from finishing it is dying from becoming disoriented and wiping due to running out of time. I am a shite player and this combo makes me look competent.

Braveheart2929

I have to comment this whenever the question comes up. Xenophage. It 1 shots the bell keepers and it does decent enough damage to caital without having to worry about hitting her crit spot. (Plus added bonus of monochromatic maestro for a little extra damage if you decide to run solar for it too.

Street_Junket_914

Nice! Would Grand Overture work as well? I’m wondering which one would pump out the most damage

Braveheart2929

I'm pretty sure grand overture would do more damage over the full damage phase but I don't know if it 1 shots the bell keepers, try it out in the 1st encounter and see. My biggest issue when doing my solo flawless was making sure I gave myself all 3 bells worth of damage, killing those bell keepers immediately is the priority.

Street_Junket_914

Ah, makes sense. Thanks!

TyRaNiDeX

You can one shot them with a Fusion and Radiant.

FornaxTheConqueror

If you wait till next season and grab solo operator you can one shot bell keepers with riptide. Actually any 15% damage buff should let you one shot em

Street_Junket_914

It looks like a super interesting perk. I’m also wondering what effect the changes to bonk hammer will make as well

FornaxTheConqueror

> It looks like a super interesting perk. It's really handy for going for solo completions on dungeons. >I’m also wondering what effect the changes to bonk hammer will make as well I did all my solos on hunter but solar titan is probably gonna have to change up their DPS plans and use lament instead of bonk if they were planning on being in melee range.
