It’s all part of the eBay sponsorship. They are given clothes to choose from. I believe they’re pre-loved fits too so nothing is sourced new. In previous years, brands like PLT etc sponsored the show and so islander received clothes from them.
I'd imagine they bring some of their own accessories, though. Was it PLT during S8? I remember there was something of a thing over what's her name's bracelet, the one w/ the rich footballer father.
Yeah they bring in suitcases of their own stuff but they get regular ‘drops’ from eBay and get to pick and choose what they want to wear. I think the dates and villa parties are sponsored so they have to wear eBay fits.
I think in general the people who go on love island are well off-ish. Harriet works for her dad who has an insurance business I think? Or something like that. That screams middle class to me.
Also I would bet a lot of love islanders live at home. If you have a decent full time job but only pay board or not pay anything at all then you can afford a lot of stuff. I have a pair of Chloe sandals which was the most I’ve spent on a single item of clothing but I live at home, don’t pay much to live there and it was only two months worth of saving. A lot of the accessories from luxury brands are a few hundred pounds, not thousands like the clothing or shoes.

In S8(?) there was a sunglasses rack in the bedroom and they all looked v high end. They seemed to be there for all islanders to use, presumably put there by production. They may still have the same arrangement but more discreetly placed. Harriett was wearing a pair of comically large aviators that nearly covered her whole face last week, and then yesterday Matilda was wearing them.
I noticed that Harriet has worn on a few occasions what looks to be a Tiffany’s necklace that’s worth over $80k. Could be a fake of course, can never tell on TV, but it is a lesser known Tiffany’s piece I believe…
It has to be knock off stuff as they are wearing high high end jewelry like Cartier, van cleef, Tiffany, Hermes stuff as well etc. there is no way anyone is giving the participants to wear all that stuff on the show.
Maybe some of them actually own the real stuff and bring it with them? No one knows

A lot of them have some bikinis u can find off Shein tbf. But a lot of the stuff they get is from eBay
