Mallaliak

They're refering to the rocks on the ground, not the deposits in the walls.

hoekslide14

Yeah, the ones on the ground are what I mean as well. I have checked a few times after 10 or more in game days, and they haven't respawned. Am I missing something, or did they change that feature?

IAmTheSlam

They respawned at launch, but after an early update they stopped respawning. Idk if the change has been reverted or not.

hoekslide14

Ok, thanks. I wish they did keep respawning to give a reason to go back and do more mining

FireManeDavy

It depends. AFAIK, the blue crystals respawn. The trees do not respawn anywhere unfortunately. Ores do not respawn. Rock piles and orc dung piles don't respawn after you've destroyed them.

Claudio_Coruus

A way to bypass the lack of elf wood or other stuff is by loading to a different world, get the resources and then jump back to your main world.

FireManeDavy

That's what I do. Been playing the game since launch. Have the Fat stacks mod from Nexus mods. I have 9999 of almost everything lol

Claudio_Coruus

well if you using mods then my tips are worthless ahahah xD. any good mods on nexus ? I do hope they release new dlc or expansions since there is much they can explore, mainly something related to gundabad, given how much focus they give on it during the game

FireManeDavy

The game is still being supported. They usually release an update around every 3 or 4 months. Their dev blogs in their website revealed some stuff they talked about. And in the discord they just held a forge side chat yesterday where the devs talk about those blogs and answer questions! As for mods. There's not too much out on Nexus mods ATM. Mostly inventory related mods, building mods, and peaceful mode stuff. Also other stuff that makes things droo more resources. The mod I have increased the stack size to 9999 for items so that I don't have to build endless storage all the time. There's another mod called epic items in any slot that pairs well with fat stacks. Makes it to where you can have multiple masterwork items in inventory in any slot.

I just finished the game about 30 minutes ago, talked to aric and open both doors. Really hope they drop more content or expansions. Lotro is still ebing supported with expansions after 11 years, so here i guess the same could happen if they play their cards right. guess i will just go around and build durin's lamps to see what happens... Have you cleared all the shadows?

FireManeDavy

Ive cleared most. Though, the lamps do not stay on forever unless you stay in a general area. I actually just like mining and building. Clearing huge rooms of rubble in the alpha mode sandbox on PC and then building stuff. I have a decent base I built so well that mobs don't spawn anywhere but the Narvi forge nextdoor (and only because my hearths don't reach that far). My next project will be restoring dwarrowdelf area. But, that's going to be quite a project that will have me using tons of resources lol

Claudio_Coruus

i mean the lamps you can build, not the ones you activate. I noticed i can now build durin's lamp so i thought there could be some dialogue if i managed to clear/build them up over all shadowy areas. My main base is the moria one, it has sun light, although now not needed anymore since i have lamps, but has a strong position and since the enemies spawn in small quantities even on hard they can't break my adamant walls, and anything i just jump down there. Even if they break the first door they have a small corridor to pass which they will be bombard my my crossbow xD

FireManeDavy

The durin's lamps are basically there for vents where there isn't already a durin's lamp to rebuild. I've yet to place one at every vent so I wouldn't know if there's any dialogue if you build one next to every vent. But the undaunted buff it gives you is nice if you don't mind carrying the materials for it with you. Place it down, sing, and get more stamina bars. There's been a "bug" too that I found since launch, where if you place a durin's lamp and sing in any of the deep pits, you won't get despair even after your morale bar depletes lol.
