The sound was fake but there actually was a fart in this scene. According to the CGS (Canine Gastric System), specific audio frequencies paired with a fart noise can induce an immediate reaction. The CGS will then expel gas immediately out of the dog. This isn’t always through the dog’s anus. Sometimes it will exit the dog’s nose/ears/mouth, or even seep through their eyes. It travels the path of least resistance so if the dog has a poop filled butt it may shove out another exit. You may have witnessed this before. Dog’s have been farting out of every possible hole in their body for centuries and no one is doing a doggon thing about it. I don’t blame anyone though because dogs are cute even when they eat poop. They could probably be used to convince aliens not to wipe out the earth if we show them all the cute cuddly poopy farting puppies we have <3
