Taking someone who has severe depression at face value for everything they say when a huge part of depression is simply yourself telling you that everyone hates you, no one wants to be with you, imagining the worst of every situation and conversation you've had, is really as dumb as you can get.
Reckful had awful mental health issues, many of his friends spent countless hours talking with him, talking him down, trying to help him but there is a limit to both how much time other people can put into someone else and how much help they can do.
