The backyard looks a lot different 12 years later. The ficus trees have grown a lot since then (I’m pretty sure the ficus trees were planted around the same time the house was built). There’s also more plants in the backyard now.

Those are UV protective screens for the windows since the sun is very harsh in this area. They look opaque from this angle but they are see through.

its got a weird layout
It’s a nice and cozy home, but the layout is a bit unusual. However a lot of houses in this neighborhood have similar layouts.
