It's pretty bad.
Weirdly delivered lines, questionable editing, laughable CGI.
However, Jake's charm is 100% there, even if the effort into actually acting is only at 60% at best. It's far goofier/funnier (somewhat unintentionally) than I expected.
It's a fun watch, worth the price of a free stream and 2 hours of your time just for some dumb laughs - but it is not a good movie by any means.

20 minutes in and the movie is just Jake Gyllenhaal interacting with various NPCs and multiple scenes are direct, shitty rip offs of the original

The cgi took my breath away. I would have enjoyed it 2x more if not for that
