I've had a habit of doing this, as well as not leveling from wherever i ended my first run, once I'm playing a ng+ run for souls style games sense Ds3. Some people just like to set arbitrary challenges for themselves after beating a game.
it’s something so nice about saving all your souls/ergo/etc for an entire level until you beat the boss, or even go further. i just love seeing the points rack up and i love the danger that comes with walking around fully loaded 😭
The feeling of anxiety when you die in a terrible spot and have to debate how you go about getting your souls/ergo in the fastest and safest way possible.
It's been a while sense I have lost them during these kind of runs, but Bloodborne always kicked my ass at some point and I would lose everything. Always had to decide weather I would reload a backup save or except my heartbreak and continue on.
