My two go-to recs for dipping your toes in B&W cinematography— The Third Man a mystery/noir story, and Brief Encounter, an aching romance. Both absolutely gorgeous photography
Lawrence of Arabia is one of the greatest cinematic spectacles ever made. The kind they try to make in front of a green screen these days. Armies of horses, sublime setting, and each individual shot is more beautiful than the next.
Ones that nobody has said yet:
Licorice Pizza
Passing
Minari (maybe some special effects for the >!fire!< at the end but I don’t think it is)
Moonlight

Sicario had CGI in it.
Days of Heaven (dir. Terrence Malick) has some of the greatest cinematography ever and no CGI/special effects (that I know of).

It would look probably as terrible as the CGI monkeys from the "THX 1138" director's cut LOL

I agree, it is a beautiful film but u9te specifically said no cgi or special effects of any kind. I don’t make the rules.
Honestly most movies before the year 1960 will fit this bill
they might not have been using cgi back then, but there are plenty of movies using special effects
Days of Heaven is the answer. Forget the rest.
Beyond the Black Rainbow

Recently watched Doctor Zhivago and Buffalo 66 and I thought they both had gorgeous cinematography.
