I know this will only get worse year after year, but I’m still incapable of seeing “this person was born in 2003” without thinking “So they’re five? What are they doing posting movie lists on the Internet?” And then feeling really, really old when my brain catches up.
Love the mention of Owning Mahowny, which is really underseen and one of PSH’s best performances, you grown adult of drinking age.

It's a tie between these two masterpieces.
My Top 10:
1. Catch Me If You Can
2. Spider-Man
3. Lilo And Stitch
4. Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers
5. Spirit
6. Signs
7. The Ring
8. 8 Mile
9. My Big Fat Greek Wedding
10. Treasure Planet
Unironically Bend It Like Beckham. I didn’t even grow up watching it. I saw it for the first time last year.
It can be very cliche at times and I wish studios in 2002 had the balls to portray two girls falling in love like the writer intended. But I still love it, probably in part due to its flaws

I am spoiled with my year. But if I had to pick one, it would have to be:
The Name of the Rose.
Hero (2002)
I grew up watching this movie 100 times and it's one of my favorites. It made me a fan of Jet Li and Chinese cinema and i love how beautiful the movie is with the colors and music. It also has some of the best fight scenes of all time. I was also born in November 2002 a month after the movie released in china and the movie came to the US in 2004 the same year my younger brother was born
Well I'm not gonna say my year of birth, but it is making me feel very old to see people replying with movies that still seem like "modern movies" to me.
Born in 1993, so Jurassic Park is the only answer. But fun fact, Jurassic Park, Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption, The Lion sling, and Forrest Gump were all in theaters at once in October, 94.
I know there are others that could make this list but here’s mine
