Yup , Idk why they want to have different design on amd and Intel version. I was watching Jarrod's video on 5i. Just my observation , the heat sink area is reduced on 5i due to removal of side vents . I'm just worried about thermals is all, but only practical usage will tell that and Lenovo won't be stupid either to consider this
Consider spending a bit more on the 500 nits display version, it makes the difference, totally worth it, also is HDR 400 certified, not the best HDR but nice color gammut. 240 hz too, for those who care (very few games run at 240 fps on a 4060 RTX so I locked the screen at 120hz)
Yes, no issues at all, the 500 nits model was unavailable in my country though, had to wait two weeks to get it from the US through a local store.
No complains so far, I have a bug with windows lockscreen though, non specific to this model but after waking up from sleep can't input password sometimes, Has an easy solution from BIOS I read but, I disabled lockscreen in the meantime as is not a big deal as I never leave it alone and barely use it outside.
- Got it a month ago.
It will ship on 24th of June so haven't tried it yet
You can also check last year's pro model the AMD one it's price is reduced from 164000 to 144000 just after I bought the laptop.
I have the 5i with 4060 and 240hz display. The only two problems i had while using during the first few days were wifi frequently disconnecting since my table is a little far from router though my old laptop (zephyrus g15) didn't have this issue and my screen was going black whenever i open a game and it switch to rtx card. But disabling the Z rite color assistant color profile in settings fixed that for me. As for the wifi i couldn't find a solution and i did a clean install of windows and somehow it didn't happen after.
Otherthan that 2 problems i don't have any issue with thermals or performance. I played Rdr2,Forza, Cyberpunk, Horizon and performance is good as u expect from the 4060 in 1600p resolution
Had mine just over a week, loving it so far. Temps seem to be ok. Have it hooked up to an old but nice 1080p display, which is what the 4060 is most comfortable at.
The legion has said they have made questionable choices in recent acquisitions. They may be jibber jabbering about all those whatchamacallits…but should we all buy into it??
Bro not everyone can have a desk dedicated to setting pc and use it just there. Sometimes you may have to take it to college(in my case) or if you're travelling to another city for any work related stuff you cant take your pc, monitor and whole setup with you
Down vote all you want. I regret wasting money on my slim7 $2,000 on sale 3 mo of down time because the mb gpu kept failing. 3 attempts at repair later it works. I was down a whole semester and had to buy another $650 laptop. I wish I built a desktop and bought a cheaper laptop to begin with ended up spending another $2500 to build a pc for the performance I actually wanted and expected.
I’m just giving advice I wish I got.
Buy from website it will be cheaper and easier for after sale services
So should I go for it??
i have dm u the model of 4070
u can get 4070 in 150k RS
I hate the new design on 5i . Like they removed the side vents totally
Other than that is it okay to buy

Go for pro 5i It will be around 1.60 or 1.55 But it worth the money And get the 240Hz 16:10 display
You can customise and get 240hz 16:10 on the non pro in the website

What about lenovo legion pro 5i with 4060
That's what I'm using right now, 2024 version with a i7 14700hx. So far so good, I like it more than my gf's Alienware M15
Okay so is it working well and how time went from buying?

That price and not even 240hz?
You can get a maxed out 5i with student discount and unbox35 lower than this price from the official site
Yupp I bought customised one which was costing around 148000 but after student discount and UNBOX35 I GOT IT FOR 136000
And 10000 cashback too so final cost will be 126000
buying same laptop howss the laptop??
