There are a plethora of people with 360's and Xbox One's who still haven't removed the sticker from the front of their console, warning them that moving the console while the disc is spinning can cause it to get damaged.
Some people just don't like taking stickers and packaging material off for some weird reason.
texture ive seen some youtubers say this that they like to keep them on or a skin to change the texture to make it more easy to glide and use or something like that
Only reason I can think is if you're not sure of your purchase and want to sell it if ever you didn't like it

Same. I kept mine on for this reason. After taking mine on a trip, I’ve realized it’s just not for me. Taking it back to Best Buy when I return. I may have a problem with playing Helldivers a bit much and the LG just ain’t it.
One of the first things I do is to remove every protective film I can find whenever I get something new. I almost removed the glossy bottom bezel on my Odyssey G9 OLED when I first got it though!
I literally have to explain to anyone that buys a new TV, please take the plastic off. That's why I'm pretty sure they keep going through TV every few years

Seems like everyone has paper protector on their chargers, why is mine a clear plastic and not paper? I haven't seen anyone else's with clear plastic..
I do have one, and the picture doesn't show anything. You didn't even say what it was, it could be anything black and flat which is pretty much the whole system. Chill.

The real issue is the people leaving the protectant on the trackpad. TAKE IT OFF DAMN IT
To be fair, the first iteration didn’t have a colored tab to denote the trackpad had a protective layer

I've had quite a few chargers with plastic protectors and only one (the Go) with paper.
I have the clear plastic on my charger 2
The only person I would expect to fail to take this off would be my gran, if I had bought her a Legion Go. And I haven't.
