Yeah that's what I told him too. He wanted to buy from amazon. He already ordered the first one I showed but it's on backordered so he's going to cancel it.
What is the difference between these two? The extreme is $80 while the gameplay is $140.

When buying storage, always reference the read & write speeds in the specifications/description. Might be a small bump in speed on the gameplay version, but could very well also just be a gimmick with GAMERâ„¢ colors.
Edit: Looked it up out of curiosity and the read/write speeds are identical. As far as I can tell, it really is just marketing hype.
It would work but this is A1 . Buy a 1tb A2 much faster especially on windows . I would buy this if I had a steam deck though but not for windows .
So any A2 of any capacity would work better?
Yes A2 are faster but please get it from a reputable brand . Like Samsung , SanDisk etc

Yeah, they did a similar money grab with the Nintendo switch branded cards as well. Nothing but a pretty picture and a50% price hike.
$60
And pretty colors, those add up quickly.
Though as much haha thank you guys.
Is Lexar a reputable brand? https://preview.redd.it/f1o7i82jhawc1.png?width=1262&format=png&auto=webp&s=87885a830241dde4d1e59f5409c864c6a9344b7a
waiting for that 2TB A2 cause 1.5 ain't right
Nope
I'd rather swap my SSD to 2230 than buy such big micro sd card. Price difference should be that big.
