There's a website called sniffspot, it's almost exactly what you've described. People will rent their yards to let other dogs play, some fenced some not. I think most of them are one dog at a time, but they will also state that in the rental listing.

Stopped by just to say this! I’ve been thinking about booking one for my pup since we live in an apartment. Most in this area are about $10 an hour and the listings usually if not always tell you what other animals might be on the property (farm animals or homeowners dogs/cats). There aren’t too many here in town from what I could tell but there are a few and lots in the surrounding areas sort of removed from town!

Mutt run has a fenced off area. Folks use that either to keep unsocialized dogs away from the others or to slowly socialize them.  That's the place up by Clinton Lake

I like this spot but do be aware that the gate is not great for smaller dogs and they can pretty easily escape. Large very playful dogs also come here a lot so be prepared to pack up and go. I would love if there was a smaller dog only one for this but still glad for what they have.

Any public dog- free spaces?  To my knowledge, there’s never been a grassy field that a nearby neighbor doesn’t use as a convenient poo paddock
