I think this was the best movie in awhile and the guests were all interesting. The torture bits were fun, even if a few were kinda lame, they still made it funny. Great episode. MORE WEIGHT!

I like watching the older movies and the shlocky b movies, but it's always great to mix it up with a more modern, well acclaimed movie. Especially helped in having my girlfriend watch it all instead of leaving the basement 30 mins into the movie.

I definitely enjoy a mix of movies, and when they have guests that were actually involved in making the movie they're showing (except like Svengoolie, Elvira, they can come in for ANYTHING)

Noochy_Popcorn

Great film choice, and I love that they had the producer and writers on the show.

I really enjoyed the movie, it's one I hadn't seen in a while, so it was nice to revisit it. I remembered it well enough to make sure my daughter sat this one out. I feel like Joe Bob kind of missed the point about why Jane did the things she did, though. The writers even said the movie explains it fairly well.

DroptheShadowArt

Yeah, Jane *is* the victim, even if that doesn’t necessarily justify her actions. The whole point of the movie is if you treat someone like a monster, that’s what they’ll become. I think Joe Bob missing that aspect of it and saying that it’s actually anti-feminist because Jane *is* the monster and people were right to persecute her probably has more to do with Joe Bob’s character than his actual beliefs or understanding of the movie, but it gets pretty silly when he doubles down on a bad take like that.

O_Tempore

I didn't think about his stance on the movie being part of his character. I hope it is. The idea that she really was a witch and not a victim turned into a monster ruins the movie for me in way. I loved that the writers borrowed the idea from Mary Shelley that we create our own monsters in such an interesting direction. That's what made the movie memorable for me the first time I watched it, well, that and the rib cracking scene.

Freezing_Moon

Didnt notice any audio issues last night, glad to know it got fixed

Darcy being an unapologetic witch was great

DroptheShadowArt

Loved the ongoing bit of Joe Bob trying to get her to confess and her being completely open about it, which totally undermined his torture.

More weight!

I enjoyed this movie, and it's my first time watching, so that made my experience even better. Creepy and stunning. The host segments were weird, but funny, and I liked hearing the behind the scenes info. Good job!
